| The observatory looks like it's going to be great and the turtle is really characterfull. If you had two you could make a half burried one . No scenic base for it? | |

Unfortunatelly I have only one. But I'm going to get another next week I thought about scenic base, but I realize that without one I can put it everywhere: on the ground, on a small piramide, in water etc. and it would always look good

| That turned out EVEN BETTER than I imagined it would. While still fitting the setting, it's a nice departure from the standard Lizard Lad digs. VERY WELL DONE! | |

| Tower is finished: Emmm....not exactly finished I want big mirror on the top. It's used to make light signals, cause simple fire is quite ordinary Used colours: Stairs and platform are black basecoat and 5 drybrushed with grays to white. Walls are maybe 10 or even 12 drybrushes of brown, greys, reds, sephia, ochre etc. | |

| That turned out SPLENDIDLY! The addition of the mirror should be a nice finishing touch...I sometimes wonder is any terrain piece is ever completely finished. VERY WELL DONE! | |

I am currently doing a large batch of stonework scenery, and would like some variation (rather than have everything just be black -> deep gray -> grey -> near white). If you could let me know the general order, that'd be great. Thank you.

| I start with black undercoat and dark brown drybrush. Now I drybrush medium grey (like fortres grey from GW paints) and later light grey. Then again dark brown, which is now not so dark. We have now something looking like clay with something grey. Then I use red, but I don't paint whole surface but part of it, maybe 2/3. Then I use medium grey and also paint 2/3. So now I have some bricks with grey, some with red, and even some with red-grey and a few only brown. Now I add some white to brown and paint also 2/3. More whte and 2/3 painted. Even more white and 2/3 painted. Now some light grey with a few brush strokes will add even more variety. Last two additional layers of brown + white and almost pure white (again in 2/3). If you do it in proper way: this 2/3 should be in patterned way; you should get nice varierty with your stonework. Try and let us know, how it works with you | |

| Can I be honest here? When I saw the finished conservatory I was a bit disappointed. When I saw the WIP I expected more from the finished piece. Don't get me wrong, it's still a very nice piece! But I expected more details, perhaps some intricate carvings, or a golden/bronze band? As an conservatory I think it deserves some intricate designs to break up the monotomous tower?
Otherwise your work is really nice! The watchtower is great!

| Your drybrushing turned out really good indeed. Most peaple think: oh jah, drybrushing, thats just sweeping colour with a big brush over those surfaces, its easy! But its not, it really takes time until you´re able to drybrush to a good level, and it also depends on what parts you brush, and how often, not to mention the choice of shading.Well, enough, what i only wanted to say here was: Damn good job, thats it! _________________ Lord Flasheart: And always remember - if you want something, take it!
