| Is there a limit to how far down you can jump in a single turn as long as it is done in hops? I know there is a 6" maximum for a single drop, but if you make that drop, can you then jump down another 6" drop? Or go from 4th floor to 1st by hitting each floor on way down (through holes in floor, etc)? | |

| In my group we have always played that the 6" limit is only in any one jump down - you can make multiple jumps that take you over 6", but to be honest we almost never have terrain that high. | |

| We have terrain that high and more (the Leaning Lighthouse is over 24" high!) and while no one has ever tried to jump off it (a few have fallen though) I would allow them to try. If they can pass all those Initiative tests then they deserve the heroic reputation for such a feat! Remember the tests represent the jumper managing to slow their fall somehow, knife-through-sail or "Crouching Tiger" style toe-and-finger-tip grabs on the way down. It would be the stuff of legends so I can only encourage such attempts of swashbuckling brilliance. At the very least the splatty mess if (when?) they fail will be funny. | |

| Well shoot, with something that high you don't need to successfully land either, you just have to hit the target below you I'm actually surprised they don't have rules for models landing on top of each other. Anyway, I originally wasn't talking about a full large drop, but a series of smaller ones. Same amount of die rolls though I guess. When you have Skaven it isn't too difficult to pass multiple rolls, since many models only fail on a '6'. | |

| They do have rules for models landing on top of each other - the model on top gets extra strength and +1 to hit Seriously though, I don't know why it shouldn't be possible to make a series of smaller jumps, as long as there is enough movement left in between them. BTW: small story from last week. I sniper a friends' model on a rooftop, it gets face down, misses initiativ test, falls 2,9" onto a walkway. Only face down again. Again misses initiative and falls further 2,9" to the ground. Still only face down. So there is no need to pass any initiative tests to get down a building, as long as you simply don't roll 5+ on injury rolls | |
