| Would they work? Of course they'd work! Dwarves never sit around loafing like those elf wimps.
Seriously, dwarves get around. Can't think why they wouldn't check out Lustria if there was swag to be had. The jungle movement rules will probably be a pain for them though.

| Check out the Grudge of Sheer thread in the fluff and battle reports. All about stunties in the new world.
Otherwise Dwarfs in lustria have been part of the official GW fluff since the first edition of Warhammer which featured dwarfs being attacked on The Ziggurat of Doom. The 2nd edition box set had a disgraced dwarf engineer pilot a riverboat up a hostile Lustrian river to save a village besieged by the slann in a seven samurai style scenario.
Dave~cool ship is it yours? (Didn't follow the link...)

| Ooooor, in one of my shameless plugs, you can try the Slayer Pirates, which I wrote for my Sartosa Campaign. Dwarven Sailors would DEFINITELY end up on that side of the water, especially if there's gold involved! https://sites.google.com/site/styroheim/sartosa | |

| Riffing off of StyrofoamKing, there are a lot of great dwarven pirate models out there, between Olley's Armies, Black Scorpion, and GW. | |
