| Hey guys... I'm back! Sorry that I haven't been here for a while, but I was far away from home... I posted these pics on blog before, but internet was so slow that I couldn't post them on forum. Well, I could, but I have no patience so I post them here NOW This is a dwarf treasure hunters warband. You may know it! It was converted by Dwalthrim - https://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/painting-and-modelling-f3/dwalthrim-s-wips-t3548.htmHe sold this warband, but fortunately, the new owner gave it to me - of course, only for painting I love dwarf metal models from 5. edition and plastic models from 6. edition, so it is really pleasure to paint it. The pics may be not really good, because we had really bad lighting (trees, trees, trees... and bad weather), but next works will be better, because we are back Some beardlings (it's not daylight, so the skin looks a little bit yellow, but it isn't): Old warriors (clansmen?): Thunderers (the worst pics, I'll try to make better): Do you like them? | |

| Like them? I LOVE THEM!...no sense in doing things half way. Your work is SO CONSISTENTLY TERRIFIC that it has become impossible to say anything good about them without repeating myself...as that's YET ANOTHER sign of imminent senility I try to avoid it . As always... VERY, VERY WELL DONE! I love Dwarves too; just don't tell the Goblins. | |

| Wonderful models, especially the old clansmen fellas (I've got a box of those, should really paint some of them...). As always your painting is rich in contrast and very neat. It seems that you've used brighter, more crisp colours than usual, and I'm a sucker for painting like that. Like them a lot! | |

| These looks great. You've shown what can be done with the standard plastic boxed set of dwarves. Very nice painting. But I think the basing is outstanding, especially the beardlings wading through the rubble (remnds me why dwarves have M 3!). I love the old school warriors who are all beard and axe. I haven't seen them for a long time.

Am agreeing fully! The blunderbusser is really nice, but what strikes as most fascinating with these dwarves are their hair, which has got a fantastic glow to it. I don't know if it's just in the pics, but it looks so healthy - if you know what I'm saying. Being a bearded fellow myself, I know how much care a beard needs to look so great .

I agree, that armour really is something special! All these brilliantly painted Dwarfs are very inspiring; I'll have to get working on my own warband at some point!

| Thanks, Al I love these bases, too, but they're not my work. Dwalthrim made this warband, I only paint it But right, they are beautiful. I never had so many good ideas for bases. Time for my favorite part of every dwarf warband - slayers Not only slayers, I finished also one other model. I always leave the slayers to paint them in the end. So, these are last 3 minis. I hope I will post a family picture of all dwarfs tomorrow Today I had no time left (or better: no good lighting). I hope you like them | |

| Well, even is you didn't do the bases from scratch, the collaborative efforts are BEAUTIFUL! The skin tones on the Slayers are OUTSTANDING. They are among the finest minis you've done thus far, AND that is REALLY saying something. WONDERFUL WORK...even if they are slaughtering some poor, innocent Goblins. | |
