Pyyr's Log: orc mob

Hi guys

I have been out from miniature painting and mordheim for work issues but I have been lurking the forums, and I have come back!

Here a new orc mob for my brother.

Boss. AoW orc with an ork nob head and a little big axe ^^

I have to agree with all the comments made so far - really rock-hard looking Orc warband, inspired use of bitz and you clearly have a deep insight into the Orc psyche! The attitude these Boyz are displaying just oozes character. It's hard to choose... but my favorites are the Goblins (great combo of Night Goblin and Gretchin bitz!) and the Big'Un with the jaw-plate and all the casual menace of the axe over his shoulder and clenched fist.

I really love the themed Hired Swords too.

Can't wait to see them all get painted, but I have to ask - are there more Boyz coming? and maybe a Troll?

Great work, I love the use of the Plastic Nobz kit. But I gotta ask; why so many Big 'Uns, you can only have two of them right?

@WarbossKurgan: yep! I have 7-8 boyz more but without many conversions, only WH40k heads, a new plastic river troll and 3 little squigs. I will post them when they are painted, because I have begun to paint the henchmen.

@Pfreck: like Von Kurst says... more options! When 2 boyz get LGT they 'll be "big'unz" in a future.

Ooh, Nicely done. Crisp converting and some very cool models.

Really good kitbashing! I especially like the use of the ogre 2h-hammer for one of the big uns. Looks very intimidating. The posing is also very good. The boyz look menacing and dynamic!

Lovely! Great Job! They look like strongmans! Really nice! we're waiting for paint so good as conversion!

WELCOME BACK! You certainly have made a triumphal return. The Lads, old & new, are FANTASTIC; you have real skill with scalpel & brush...the Goblins are my favorites. GREAT WORK...keep it coming!
