You bought it for over 100 euro's??? To much money??? *laughs* certainly better than 65 euros for 8 casualties £70 isnt too bad if you think about it (bear + handler) and the last few haven't sold for much less than that on ebay. Also it's not as if the price will be coming down anytime because no more are being produced. Besides, the tax man paid for it via a timely rebate so i won't miss the cash - Kafka

| So what are you going to do with the minis? Paint them up yourself? Have them painted? Wait and re-sell them later on? I have a painted Bear Tamer I would certainly sell for half that price. | |

But that's just me... though i pay 60 euros for a building.... so i might be weird in a different way Also wondering if you will paint it yourself??? I just bought a Frenzied Mob... and bidding on the WH Qyest Imperial Noble right now... without rules tho but i got them printed myself already!

They'll be painted and gamed with by me that's for sure. Unlikely to sell them unless i am destitute and need to pay the mortgage. Trades are more likely in order to aquire other figures. - Quote :

Selling it ? Do you accept paypal ? I'm serious here - Kafka

That was my point People will pay obscene amount of money for something which appears worthless to other folks. I personally wouldn't pay 65 euros for 8 casualties but someone else did. Same applies to the tamer and bear - Quote :

Of course I'm an ex commission and GW shop painter so i think i can handle it. No self respecting gamer / painter would let other people paint their gaming mini's - it's just not right - Quote :

Quest Noble is a nice mini Frenzied mob on the other hand are a little dissapointing but that's just my opinion - Kafka

That is cool! So you're collecting a full original Kislev warband then. I was slightly tempted by the Ostland, Kislev and Averlander models too, but only because of the rarity factor. But I don't like the rules for them so it really wouldn't be worth it. I look forward to your warband! - Kafka wrote:

Ha ha. I don't think you really want him. I converted his sword hand because I used him as a Cathayan blaggard. See here: https://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/gallery-f8/got-a-gold-crown-to-spare-merchant-caravan-warband-t50.htm

Same applies for the Averlander and Ostlander bands and i think most of the models are of such a high standard people tend not to sell them. I noticed an Averlander on ebay here a few days ago with the buy out price of £25 .. few hours later and with a few bids down the seller removed the "buy now" option. Obviously he's hoping it'll go past £25 ... nice but not that nice - Quote :

Good looking band Converted or not i'll take him and the bear if you're looking to sell them. Conversions can be re-worked - Kafka

| I've been thinking about picking up the frenzied mob. To those who bought it: does it come with one each of the pictured models or a random selection as the description reads?
I don't want to end up paying for repeat models.

| The mob was sold in blisters of random models. But since they offer the Mob as a whole I think they are one-offs each. The original blisters were random though. | |

| Yes, I have chronicled my search for kislevites on another thread here on Tom's, look at the bottom of the first page on this forum. It's very sad to think Kislevite models were available just a few years ago, and today people pay obscene prices to possess them. Alas, I will probably never own any Mordheim Kislevites. - Pathfinder Dubstyles wrote:

I don't want to end up paying for repeat models. When I purchased the frenzied mob direct from GW as a graduation present for myself last year, the frenzied mob came with all 12 unique poses. I think it was $40.00, so about $3.33 per each individual. I haven't been able to do much with them yet, but it is a great set to look at.
