Kurgan tribes

Close but not yet correct. Even the Kurgan were helplessly slayed by this terrible tribe.

Tribe of the Hound?

That does not exist as a major tribe. Worshippers of the hound/dog or similar are simply followers of Khorne, which can be of any tribe really. Please correct me if I am wrong. I am looking for one of the big tribes (like Kurgan, Norse, etc.). Followers of the various Chaos gods (Tchar the Eagle, Arkhar the Dog, Onogal the Crow, Shornaal the Serpent) are not what I am looking for.

Nope. Actually as they live further south from the Chaos Wastes the Norse are amongst the less Chaos infested tribes that even trade with the people from Kislev.

Can it be the Hung? If memory serves me they are well north.

Sorry to disappoint. But the tribe I am looking for is a far more mystic and evil tribe than even them.

Hint: They come from the far east and their name is very Asian/Cathayan. If you post a name, tell me also where you got that from so I know you're not randomly guessing Asian names ("Cheng, Li, Hun,..." you know what I mean).

Sorry, it's none of the tribes listed on that map. The tribe isn't listed because it appeared all of a sudden, slayed a lot of people and then disappeared again. A mystic tribe of legend...

Alright then, the answer is already long overdue. The fact that you didn't know the answer tells me you all are not carefully reading the Mordheim Ezine 'Letters of the Damned'. Ts ts ts!!
