| Here are a couple of ruins I've recently made. Hope to do more very soon. Your basic cardboard, foamcore and balsa wood construction. Based on small canvas I bought at a craft store. | |

| That's a very nice beginning to what (I hope) will become a sprawling and deadly city!
I especially like that the bases appear suitably "rubbley" without being a serious hindrance during gameplay.
Very well done! | |

Very well done! Thanks! Right now these are just random ruins I'm making just to have a creative outlet. No major plans for a full board anytime soon. I do want to work on some more pieces so I may end up with enough pieces for one eventually. I did try to add some rubble without impeding movement if these were ever played on. I didn't want to overdo it with too much. Nice to know someone thinks I suceeded. I'm not a Mordheim player but I do have a FB Empire army. I haven't really had any time to paint or play since the arrival of my daughter 2 years ago. Just felt like doing something to keep myself from going stir crazy. Glad I found this site to get a little inspiration flowing through me again.

| Wow, that church is nice - but it looks a little bit christian . Should make it very versatile, though. | |

| NICE START to what promises to be a COOL gaming table....these things just grow of their own accord. The ruins look to be VERY games worthy & your intact earlier pieces are EXCELLENT models. Keep up the GOOD WORK! | |

Thanks! lol I would definitely do things a little different now if I was making another one. It does need a few more structural details for a more interesting and warhammery look. I experimented with pre-formed plastic sheets for the roof. Never been entirely happy with how that worked out. I didn't want to cut out that many roof tiles for such a big piece at the time... lol

| Nice ruins - and I agree the rubble on the bases makes them very Mordheimy. The two intact buildings are also handsome - can you access the interior? | |

Thanks. There is no access to the inside of those two. My construction methods have yet to include exact measurements and precision building. I measure a few big pieces then eye-ball the rest of the construction. They just sort of take shape as I go.

| Those are some excellent builds. I really like the tower with the attached building. | |

| Thanks for the comments, guys! Here's a few new pieces in various stages of progress... First is a fountain I'm working on. Will need to experiment a little with different types of water effects before I decide on what to do. | |

| VERY COOL! Fountains are a nice touch to a city board...the Griffin ties it in neatly to Mordheim/The Empire. | |

thanks! I hope I'm not overdoing it. I've been adding a little more to the newer pieces after looking back at some old WD pics.
