Pirate Warband - Easy Question

I hope it's easy anyway.

In the Pirate pdf we have a list written by the author and he gives one of his models, a Crewman, a Bow.

According to the pdf a Crewman can be armed from the Pirate equipment list which doesn't contain a Bow although the Swabbies list does.

Is anyone aware of an errata that allows me to have a Bow.

If my addled mind is recalling correctly, it was the naming of the figure in question that was in error, not the list - that is, only swabbies can have bows and the figure is intended to be a swabbie.

Somebody with more experience with Pirates, please correct me if I am wrong.

You're correct in your thinking.

Only swabbies can have bows

Gunners can have only the missile weapons listed in their missile list.
Pirates (heroes & henchmen) can have pins and pistols as shown in their missile list.

The only exception would be if a hero gains the appropriate skill to use other missile weapons.
