| Very quick one. Does a charging model wielding a two-handed sword strike last even in the first round, or only in subsequent rounds? | |

| From the rulebook:
Strike last: Double-handed weapons are so heavy that the model using them always strikes last, even when charging.

| Following on the ruling for spears (that they go in I order when the wielder is charged), we house-ruled that one. Now we play it that the conflicting rules cancel each other out, so a model with a two-handed weapon strikes in I order when charging - that is, unless the model being charged has a spear. How's that for confusing? | |

| Just for the record: There are no "two-handed swords" or "two-handed axes", only "two-handed weapons", i.e. the weapons don't benefit from the specific rules for swords, axes, etc. You probably know this but I thought I'd mention it nevertheless. | |

| They do, however, use different crit tables if you are using the optional ones at the back of the book.
This is the reason that my designated monster-killer is armed with a DH hammer rather than a DH sword or axe. IMAO Web of Steel is more potent when combined with a hammer. I prefer a 5+ chance of getting 'Bludgeoned' to a 4+ chance of getting 'Sliced!'.
A little less likely to occur, but much funnier when it does; and really, why do we play this game if not to generate funny stories and memories?

| Look-up the Rules for Kitana in BTB. You get the advantages of a sword and a two handed weapon all in one. | |
