| Well, as I mentioned on the "introduce yourself" thread, I'm new to Mordheim and new to the hobby. Yet I have put together both warbands from Mordheim's starer-box. Middenheim Mercenaries: ----------------------------------- Skavens: -------------------------------- Soon I will be posting some pictures of the scenery and game-board I'm working on. C&C welcome. | |

| Skaven Close-ups: (based on Coreheim 7.9 rules) Eshin Sorcerer & Eshin Assassin: Night Runners & Black Skaven: Clan Rats: ------------------------- Well, I can't say that I'm completely content with the results, I really need to get a magnifier glass or something for the little areas, I can see I messed up a lot of tiny details.. but well, I guess that kind of skill comes with time. ------------------------- Middenheim Merceneries coming up next | |

| Nice warbands! I really like the Middenheimers, and for some reason (I know this sounds funny) the shield on the captain really stands out. Great looking band of mercenaries, though!
On to the Skaven: really cool! That has got to be one of the most unified-looking skaven warbands I've ever seen, and they look great. The kind of drab green is a great color choice for their cloth.
Nice use of both plastic sets!

| GREAT LOOKING minis & COOL bases! LOVE the choice of colors on the Rat Guys...green is a very becoming color for rodents. The Middenheimers look suitably colorful...nice shade of blue. WELL DONE! Don't sweat the little imperfections that show up in photos...cameras can be SO CRUEL. Unless your opponents show up with magnifying glasses, they'll go unnoticed. | |

| For one of the few first miniatures to have ever painted, those look pretty damn good. A lot better than my first. My main advice is just short and simple: "Thin down your paints"
Nice bold use of colors btw.

| Thanks for the tip Dedgob, I'll consider it for the future. Since I'm not using Citadel nor Vallejo acrylics, I can notice a difference on the paint's texture once dry.. the one I'm using looks too rough, I don't know exactly what it is, but Citadel paints have some sort of "coating"... and I can see the results are different.
Also I added some acrylic coating in spray to seal the paint and make the minis a bit more durable.
