A visit from a 'Deaf' guy!

Well pretty exited here folks. Are wonderful Mod 'Deaf' will be dropping by my house this evening on his journey to his new home in TX. I was told while he was driving here that he has his gobbos handy and ready for some action!

Woe be to his greenies when they meet my Dwarf throng! Either way it will be great that he will be here in my house for a couple of days and I will get some pics of the action and all that good jazz!

Well folks we had a GREAT visit from Deaf and his friend John! They had to leave this morning which was sad, but understandable. They arrived in my area around 9 pm and the Mrs. and I took them out to dinner, and we came home.

Being as tired as they were, they went to bed pretty soon after, but this morning they were up and we were showing eachothers miniatures to one another and boy does Deaf have some awesome stuff! The mans talents have no boundries, I just pray that one day i can be half as good as him!

Unfortunately we did not get to play any games, but we took a pic together for the occasion and I will post it as soon as my wife emails me it.

Naw, Deaf wasnt scared at all, he had a blast! He adopted my five year old boy as his grandson lol. It was an awesome visit all around, and I just wish it could have lasted for a longer period of time.

At least I got to meet him, and talk to him face to face.

I agree, one of these days I hope that the Army will station me in Germany and I can get together with you all in one your meet ups for some good times and great games.

Deaf looks spooked... maybe because his arm is turning to pure light! SO BRIGHT! My experiences with Alan have ALWAYS been very positive. I do envy you... he is a very nice person, and I imagine he can tell some cool stories. Glad you had a great time!

That's awesome. Was this in Texas? Looking at the pic I might think not because Deaf is wearing a heavy jacket, but TX weather has been wacky this month...

He is going to Texas (maybe arrived already)... he was making a pit stop (potty break?) at Drugart! HEY! That is an idea? Since Deaf is so loved... you may auction something he may have left on eBay? You make MILLIONS!

It was a WONDERFUL, although all too brief, visit with Drugart, his LOVELY wife, & UBERCOOL son. The look of abject fear/horror is mostly a frozen expression from Nhoj's habit of checking out his cell phone while we're careening down the highway.

I'm slowly getting up to speed with my painting/modeling after a two month layoff. HOWEVER, now The Vault of Pack Rattiness has almost tripled in size with the addition of Nohj's Lads & Lasses, SO...GREAT THINGS are in the works...mostly.

Well I never been all that impressed with me AND I keep turning up wherever I go. I never thought I'd wind up in Texas; SO...who knows; a meet up is still a possibility.

On the Canada question: I lived in Montreal for a year & a half. It's the only city I ever came to love.
