Possessed warband

Howdy - new guy here. I've been browsing some of the threads of excellent models and figured I'd share my one and only finished warband... Comments, questions, and critique always appreciated!

These are some amazing models! Great way to say "Hi!" What models did you use? There are some awesome models and conversions AND paint jobs.

The models and bits are from all over the place. Let me see if I can ID everything...

Magister: Body is from an old chaos sorcerer model, and the head is from one of the original pewter space marines from waaaaaaaay back in the day.

Possessed #1: A stock chaos creature called Scylla something-or-other, originally from the early 90's, I believe.

Possessed #2: A river troll body with the head and tail from a chaos hound that came with the original Khazrak One-Eye model (I think).

Mutants: Both of these are some of the first Tzeentch sorcerers GW produced in the late 80's with miscellaneous Mordheim accessories tacked on.

Warlock: A model from the original Genestealer hybrid set. His left hand (with the book) is actually from yet another of those old Tzeentch sorcerers.

Brethren/Darksouls: The original metal Chaos marauders. The Darksouls' weapons have been modified a bit but otherwise, just stock models.

I guess it was easier to remember the parts than I thought it'd be, once I got going. Man, I've used those old metal Chaos figures for so many different conversions - some of my favorite GW models, period.

Man, you have made these guys look bad azz fosho! The mag, hawkman, and 1/2 are really awesome. U didnt really have to pose them or anything?

Hi Gomez AND WELCOME ABOARD Fearless Leader Tom's Yet Inspirational Nonetheless Mordheim Forum. That IS indeed a FINE introduction & War Band...unique & VERY in character: GREAT use of the older GW pieces, WONDERFULLY painted, & FANTASTICALLY photographed. VERY WELL DONE!

Awesome warband! I'm a sucker for the old Chaos line, and the Tzeentch sorcerers in particular were very cool! Nice use of those models as mutants. The genestealer hybrid - turned - warlock is cool too, something I never would have thought of!

One quick question: what mutations (if any) did you give to your mutants?

I love these! Very nice and unique take on the Possessed. I especially love both of the mutants. Since these guys are very open in their interpretations it's always cool to see different takes on them.

Einmauer (blue) gets "Hideous" and Faustus (bird) gets "Extra Arm". I've started these guys several times, and both are pretty much standard purchases.

Unfortunately, he's all one piece (well, with weapons and miscellany added). He's an ancient Tzeentch sorcerer model I re-purposed for this warband.

Absolutely amazing warband. It has a great mood about it. The possessed and mutants in particular are perhaps my favorite of any chaos warband.

Just WOW! Superb and welcome aboard!

Really neat models. I especially like your hunched models!
Though I really should flog you for using Papyrus ^_^
