hello and stuff

so, an introduction...

have played gw games on and off for last 15 years. the hobby has been neglected for a while due to work/study/family but recently had some friends move up to orcland (Auckland, New Zealand) who are into mordheim, so its back into it i go.
I now have to luxury of actually having the financial resources to do pretty much what i want (with regard to modelling) so have dived in. purchased a bunch of models to combine with those i that have been gathering dust (dwarfs and orcs) and bought a bunch of hirst moulds.
I also have the advantage of owning a dental clinic which gives me essentially unlimited access to some awesome tools and materials for modelling. At the moment i have too many ideas of things to do and not enough time until the new year to really get into it, but i will.

Anyways, this forum is pretty awesome and i hope to be able to contribute in the not so distant future.

You lost me with the Forever Winter though...this may not be a bad thing. Winter is the WORST, MOST GOD AWFUL MISERABLE, DEAD LOOKING Season devoid of any redeemable qualities. I ABSOLUTELY HATE Winter...might work well for Mordheim being the City of the Damned & all that.

Pretty good looking squigs. Your choice of color really bring them to life.

Can you tell us the colors and techniques used?

As you will discover, people in this forum is very freindly, but PIC HUNGRY, so you already made a good start showing us some of your models.

But then, LOTS of people don't frequent this "newbies" threads, so to get a better exposure, you'll may want to start a thread in the modelling and painting miniatures section.

Hope you'll find lots of friends here and good sources of inspiration.
