| For clarity's sake, I totally agree with Da Bank and Cianty, and pretty much everyone else. I was just trying to think of some way for Darthghandi to convince his group since they clearly aren't buying the arguments presented, clarifications, and obvious statements that we've presented. | |

| I wasn't arguing, I was just pointing out that it could be interpreted that way. The question is, "Will darthghandi's group accept Da Banks word?" I know he is GW sanctioned, but I have the benefit of having known this since he was an official Answer MOD on the official GW SG Forums.
darthghandi's group likely doesn't frequent any Mordheim forums, and expect him to provide some official proof that he is right before they will accept it. If he goes to them and says, "Da Bank said so." They are gonna say, "Who?"
Is there some way that darthghandi can provide a credible link between Da Bank and GW? Some way to show that he is official? If that can be provided darthghandi can likely solve his problem.

| @Jeff...You do bring a valid point. They may not accept what I say but if the go to SG Mordheim Forum. My name is Answer MOD DaBank. I doubt they would let me have that name if I wasn't. There is an old saying "You can lead a horse to water but you can not make him drink". I believe that is the case for those in darthandi's group. With that on the SG Mordheim forum, it lists me as one of the MODs, Cianty is the other one and Brahm is long inactive. | |

| Whatever way one looks at it, if you put together all the different parts of the rulebook on swords/bucklers/parry you are bound to believe the rules are like evrryone is explaning here. @darthghandi: I do understand your predicament... If they don't believe/support your arguments, I'd (like Cianty noted) send them a link to this thread. If they still won't change their mind, I'd say they're rather stubborn/ignorant... Anyway: Good Luck! | |

| Arguing abour rules really shouldn't be about name dropping but the problem is that we have reached a point where all the relevant rules sections have been pointed out. I hope darth's fellows check out any of the Mordheim forums so this can be solved once and for all. | |

| I have just one more question : - Da Bank wrote:
- If a model is fighting against several opponents, it may
only parry the strike from the enemy who makes the first hit(s) Even if he can't ? If the opponent has twice more strengh, we play he can parry the second enemy (it arrived just one time, but we didn't think we're house-ruling when we resolved this case)...

| Hmm.. good question. I'd say that the model then loses the opportunity to parry altogether. That's more in line with the normal rules. There is no "then parry Y instead of X" in the rules. | |

| You could house rule but given the set of circumstances it would see "lost" as that model with twice the strength wipes out the parry attempt. Either way you can't win and make everyone happy so you keep with the normal set of rules to make it work. | |

| Wow! I haven’t seen such an odd Debate, since:
“Dwarves CAN fly! The Book doesn’t say they can’t!”, says the Flying Dwarf Player
Someone here just said, to show them the link to the GW Specialist Games Forum, is the still somewhere or has that shut down? If it’s still up somewhere, can I have the link? I have some lengthy arguments on it that I’d rather “copy and paste” rather than retype some of them for the same Questions here.
