lances and other mounts

hail,
so i was wondering, in the rules for lances it states that only warriors wh own warhorses may carry a lance and so i was wondering does that mean only people who actually have a warhorse can use a lance or does a warhorse extend to other mounts (such as nightmares or boars) and more specifically gigantic spiders? (i just started playing forest goblins; can you tell?)

Without reading the rules two things come to mind.

1) YOu need a weapon skill to use it.

2) YOu need to roll to find it or get it through exploration or capturing an enemy model.

I can see the argument that the other types of mounts were not released at the time when the rules for lances were published.

However, considering that it explicitly says "Warhorse" instead of only "mounted warriors", which explicitly excludes the normal riding horse, I'd say you definately cannot generalize this to allow all mounted warriors to use this weapon. I think this can be convered in the upcoming FAQ.

One of these days I will bring my Mordheim material to work so I can answer these things. LOL
