| Regarding equipment, if you look at the table on page 39 of the Nemesis Crown supplement, there are two lists: the Gunnery School equipment list and the Marksman Equipment List. Note that under the Marksman equipment list, there is no qualifying statement ruling that "This list is for Marksmen only." Thus, it would appear that the Marksman equipment list is a subset of the Gunnery School equipment list and therefore all heroes and units that can take from the Gunnery School equipment list can also take Marksman equipment. Without the previously mentioend restrictive qualifier, this is certainly a fair interpretation. However, if you look at the Human Mercenary list (page 8 of the Warband section of the main rulebook), there is a similarly structured equipment list with that qualifier under the Marksman equipment list. The warbands overall are structured quite similarly with respect to the function of marksmen, so if you reason by analogy, it appears that the absence of that qualifier was an oversight. Anyway, that's what I thought, but I wanted to be sure so I continued digging. I found the old and all-text versions of the Nemesis Crown supplements (saved from way back on the old SG website) and looked up the Gunnery School of Nuln. Indeed, under that document's Marksman equipment list (page 47, part 2 of the text only Nemesis Crown supplement) it indeed states that "This list is for Marksmen only." I am therefore more inclined to believe that during the formatting process (nice formatting, by the way -- how do you do that?) to make the really polished looking Nemesis Crown supplement, that statement was left out by accident. Can anyone confirm this? I noticed that Christian “Cianty” Templin and Stu "Werekin" Cresswell are both in the development credits, so if either of you could comment, I'd greatly appreciate this! =] | |

| Guilty as charged. You are absolutely right, this was an oversight (and no subtle change to imply general access of the marksmen's equipment list to all warband members). | |

| Oh no, my friend is playing them. Right now, I'm just trying to foment interest amongst my friends so we're playing quite casually with stand-in models. I figure once I get 'em interested, then we can start worrying about modeling and so forth. However, I do think about model choices a lot... I think I'd use some of the Marienburger Youngblood/Champion models for the Underclassmen/Upperclassmen. I'm not sure, fluff-wise, what going to the Gunnery School was like, so I don't quite know how students would dress and so forth. | |

| Uh, alright. Got luck getting them hooked! I don't know much about Empire dresses either. But you could easily research the colours of Nuln I guess. | |

| Black features heavily in Nuln clothing, and it seems to me that Black with some white or off-white accents are the norm for soldiers of Nuln. For the gunnery school, however, I really couldn't say. It would be kind of funny to have them all in academic regalia though! Here are some Empire State Colors, although these vary a bit from other depictions (such as Mordheim's Averlanders being in yellow and green whereas these are in yellow and black). | |

That's a great reference! What's wrong with the Averlander? He is black/yellow in that reference.

For some reason I was thinking that the Averlanders painted up for Mordheim were in yellow/green, mostly on account of the feathers. Anyways, the point being you don't have to use the established color scheme for your mercenaries, you can do little variants.

| The old GW Nuln army used various colours to distinguish one unit from another. As I remember it there was one with green accents, one with red, and one with blue. I think so long as they were predominantly black, you could use any other colour(s) for decoration that you wanted.
Or, as has been said, they can wear any colour you please - after all, they are your models!
