I CAN identify with your feelings, Bro! When I started out painting for games it was "historical" & units are HUGE [an Austrian Battalion in Napoleonics was 60 minis strong AND they are ALL WHITE ]. When I got into fantasy [they FINALLY invented it in the 70s ] everything changed & painting started to be fun, plus I started getting more & more positive feedback. SO....buck up things will start swinging in the other direction AND it could be worse; it could be raining [sounds of thunder]!

I like the medium blue you've been using on the Sisters, Warrior Priest, & your Free Lancer/Sergeant; they look rather Bavarian. Is your Empire Army going to be Nordlanders?

However, you should try to paint the eyes a little bit smaller. Perhaps apply some skin tone around them after having painted the whites?

But apart from that, the miniatures look really good. My favourite is the augur, her skin looks like she's been in a fight or two lately :

DeafNala the blue I used on the Free Lancer/Sergeant is actually different to the others its enchanted blue on the others its ice blue its not visible on the pictures but on the models you can make the difference. And about basing the Raven Castle of Baron Eric Von Haden I have been thinking some where on the northern side of Midden Mountain

You're making progress AND there is a noticeable improvement in the quality of your paint jobs [not that they weren't good to begin with]. How are you planning to do the bases [I'm a basing fanatic among other unsavory things ]?

I see improvement, but tell me, do you not undercoat or paint the metals? Because it shows quite alot.

I mostly undercoat with black sprey but the elf is painted with out because i had him alredy half painted with out and as i am laysi dident want to start from undercoat again

Your Ulli & Marquand have inspired me to FINALLY do up my own version of the Dastardly Duo; I've had the minis languishing in a plastic storage tray for quite a long time. Thanks, a bit of motivation IS appreciated [especially at my age ].
