| I have finished this project! But I must admit it was nearly done when I bought the fungi at a chinese shop ^^ Greenskins breeding as fungi between the fungi: Purge the breeding nest!: The wyrdstone fumes create strange plants at the streets of Mordheim: Later I found another use for these fungi (maybe inspired by the planet Felucia). Knock down the xenos abomination!: | |

| @ Tom, I bought them at a chinese shop and they are nearly done. They seem to be decorative stuff for home plants (they got a spike in the base to put them into the earth), and they are made of polyestirene and apparently covered by thin painted paper. The effect is quite good, why don't you try visiting your nearest chinese shop? They are filled of useful stuff for scenery ^^ Thank you so much guys. Go, fungi-movement! | |

Sorry for smart-assing: [nerd mode] fungi are not plants. They belong to the kingdom of... fungi and are heterotrophs. Plants belong to the kingdom of plants and are autotrophs. Just had to get it out of my system. [/nerd mode] Please don't hate me now. - Your (otherwise very friendly) Admin Tom. _________________

| RANT WARNING!Mushrooms are for making strange libations & food, of course. The REALLY BIG Mushrooms are objects of worship for [my] Night Goblins. The fungus thing & the idea of spawning with the Orcs & Goblins is one of the MORE ANNOYING ideas the GW designers came up with...they haven't figured out what women are here for yet. I follow the AD&D concept that the Green Folk will mate with just about ANYTHING as is evident from all the 1/2 Orcs. My Night Goblins "recruit" females on their raids with the "put out or get eaten" caveat...this has led to some tragic misunderstandings with the Bretonnian Ladies. The point of this ramble is that some of the background fluff GW comes up with is pretty moronic; make your background fit the way YOU view your little warriors. You don't have to buy into EVERYTHING GW is selling. BTW COOL MINIS...VERY WELL DONE! | |

| Your forest needs some squigs to inhabit it. :3
How about a special rule for fungus forests... like, if your model is within one, and he's shot at, or fighting in it, and an attack misses, roll a D6... on a 1, the model in the woods suffers stupidity for the rest of the battle due to a rain hallucinogenic spores. :3

ARGH!!! I have deleted the Orcs and Goblins fungus background from my memory as soon as I had read it the first time in a GW book. Now, thanks to all of you, I have to do it again!!!

| Those look fantastic - exactly the sort of thing you might get growing in a corrupted city like Mordheim.
They remind me of the computer game Morrowind too.

| Use Wyrdstone to grow your fungi!
Works better than dung and Old McDonald may get a chance of growing a 3rd arm!
Excellent terrain! | |

| I've been keen on idea of fungus forest for quite a long time and your concept of using pre-made artificial mushrooms seems really reasonable . It would be also great in both underground and wilderness settings. | |

| as far as I know the wierd "greenskins are mushrooms" thing only aplies to orks and gretchin in 40k not to fantasy orcs. fantasy orcs and goblins just seem to have an odd fixation with fungus | |
