| Even as someone who is admittedly NOT into Daemons/Possessed/Chaos, I think that is one disturbingly COOL & WELL DONE mini. The effect is of someone/thing from one of those horror flicks that have a special effects crew on space coke. GREAT STUFF as always.  | |

| Hello everyone! Haven't painted anything or posted anything in a awhile, mainly due to laziness and being distracted by a great/addictive game called Minecraft  So i have finished 3 things, acouple for my Possessed warband and a random Ghoul model for maybe a future project? First up we have the old Mordheim Witch model. Her cape-y thing came out a tad shiny in the pics, but oh well, not much i can do about that  Secondly we have the Pit Fighter ogre model, thought it kind of suited a chaos themed warband and gave me a chance to mess around with blood effects abit more which is always fun  And lastly we have a slightly disturbing Ghoul model from Heresy miniatures, but i enjoyed painting it and i quite like how it came out Anyway, hope you all liked and hopefully i can get off my ass and paint some more, i have some half painted beastmen to finish off so maybe i will get them done C&C always welcome -Foot | |

I'd still like to know how you got the blood effect on the sword (it looks lumpy, pulpy, and almost tangible) — how did you get that effect?
Any info on that, or the spattered-blood effect on the armor, would be really appreciated. | |

| Cheers guys @Ordo its quite simple to do, all you need is some Tamiya clear red, some chaos black (or some type of black paint) and an old-ish brush. Mix in a tiny bit of black with some clear red and dab it/paint it where you want it, then do the same but with less black in the mix and thats it. Hope that helps out in some way -Foot | |
