| SHOOTING SKILL:
Name: Warrior may shoot at hidden enemies within his line of sight. (The target is still hidden to everyone else.) – If warrior is a Wizard he may also target them with spells.

This is not good enough for a skill itself. Please help me expand it.

| For the name: something like Heightened Senses? "hidden enemies within his line of sight" may be a bit tricky to define. | |

| Warrior automatically reveals all hidden enemies within twice his Initative in inches. These models are no longer hidden to the warband (but still hidden to other warbands or NPCs).

| i think the wizard part should be seperate under academic skills and should not need to be line of sight related as walls shouldn't stop a spell working, maybe the wizard has attained the "all seeing eye" skill. The twice Initiative thingy works really well in this regard, but then maybe it would require a dice roll to work or is that getting too complicated | |

| I ended up doing something a little different, but i was inspired by you, C:
Warrior may charge and shoot at hidden enemies as though they were not hidden. (The target is still hidden to everyone else.) – If warrior is a Wizard he may also target them with spells.
still, i think it needs a little more to be viable, dont you?

| Maybe it should only work on a 4+ or a Ld check, rather than just stopping hiding from working altogether? Some warbands would be really punished by this skill as is! | |

| Yes, definately. That's why I went with: "warrior unveils hidden enemies within X" ". This way you only need one warrior with the skill and can use that model as a kind of Scout. Move him forward and let his comrades shoot at the hidden enemies that become "unhidden" by the Scout. I imagine this to result in more heroic situations, where a fast moving (sprint skill) warrior is sent ahead and the enemies tries to take him out. All these dynamics get lost when making the skill to be only useful for the warrior himself instead of for his comrades too. Plus this makes the skill more useful to boot. | |

| How about:
Pin Down: The warrior may shoot at hidden enemies. If he hits, roll to wound as normal and the target may do nothing the next turn but remains hidden (if he survives).
Then you can add another skill under combat:
Spot: The warrior's keen battlefield senses enable him to reveal all hidden models within double his initiative value on a successful leadership check.

| Cianty's slant on this rule sounds way cool, but taking it to a scouting status could move it out of shooting skills(hopefully), hey call me selfish but beastmen don't get shooting skills but a beastman scout, hmm, now that would be pretty cool, c'mon guys surely a beastman can sniff out some sweaty human scum in the ruins of Mordheim. although i guess it could be added to the beastman special skills list, maybe titled "Scalp Hunter" | |
