He was still fairly young. One of the pop icons of my youth. At one time, long before the troubles with the law, he was indisputably the most popular face on the planet and one of its' most influential performers. Hard to imagine my tween years without thinking about "Thriller" or "Beat it".
I wasn't a huge fan of his music, but i can't deny his talent and celebrity.
