I know we have a few people here who are gamers. I assume that anyone who has played games knows id Software and John Carmack. id is responsible for Wolfenstein, Doom, and Quake. Well, they were just purchased by another company... Zenimax, the parent company of Elder Scrolls developer Bethesda Softworks, as in the company that I work for. Consider my mind officially blown.

Haha, thanks. Let me put it this way for those who don't understand. The company that I work for has just purchased one of the best and most well respected studios with one of the most talented programmers in the world. id essentially invented first person shooter games and now they are a part of my company.
Imagine if you were working for a tabletop gaming company and you purchased Games Workshop. It's kinda like that.

Yeah, I just think it's really stupid calling the news section of a website "Industry Bullshit Stories". It totally removes any credibility they may have had.
