Henchmen and Items

Hello All,

I am slightly puzzled as to wether or not my Henchmen can take a Rope & Hook.

"Only Heroes may buy and carry the equipment described in this section. You may

not give it to Henchmen unless the rules specifically say so."

The thing with this is, i can't see any items where it DOES specifically say so.

Does A warrior refer to a Hero, or any warrior?? I'm puzzled

It refers to a hero (usually), but is written in general terms, as there are some henchmen (bosun from pirate warband) who can take the rope and hook. However, ordinary henchmen cannot.

As the text says: Miscellaneous items cannot be ussed by Henchmen. All instances of "warrior" in that section therefore refer to the Hero using that item.

We allow for henchmen to take rope and hook items as a house rule. I suggest the same, it makes non hero archers very nice

I actually like the idea because I find shooting notoriously underhelming.
