Hey Bank!

Ja, we're still there most Thursdays.

Playtable has been flying for the past year or so. Lots of cool stuff coming out of his basement shop every few weeks. He has to unload his boxes at the back door now, since he brings so much stuff!

Link is playing the Dark Elves. EvilTed is Da Mob or Da New Mob since Playtable wiped him out 2 weeks ago.

Link's new. He just showed up 3 months ago or so.

We're having a great time. The Sartosa setting has been a blast, even if it is a bit much for newer players.

Week 5--Boss Pilla becomes a Bloody Boys hero!

Boss Pilla performs exceptional service against his former crew mates the Ghosts II. He is promoted after a Cannibal Boy joins the ranks of the Cursed. In other news the Osso Hills are reported captured by the Bloody Boys (but weren't) and the Skull Sands do fall to the Sea Patrol. Big changes are on the way for Sartosa!
We fought in the outlying areas of Sartosa again this week because half the players were originally going to miss the game night. Of those who thought they could attend this week most players wanted to have another chance at the Osso Hills, which is popular with the Bloody Boys and Da New Mob. In the end my travel plans had to be cancelled and EvilTed ended up being called in to work at the last minute.

The Wolf Hunt I. The Bloody Boys versus the Sea Patrol. Location: the Osso Hills. Weather and time of day--unknown. The elves shot down or killed most of the wolves, no others appeared. A few elves were caught by the Boys but most avoided contact while filling Raiders with arrows. Khorne eventually tired of the chase and withdrew from the fight. Hoping for some reports later in the week.

Duel on the High Seas. The Ghosts II versus the Privateers. Location: the Skull Sands. Weather--fine. Daylight. The Ghosts had the wind. They rode it with their bow pointing directly at the Empress Ulrika's Revenge. Two crossbowmen sniped from the bow. Their shots were ineffective. The Privateers swung their bow to the south to bring the starboard guns to bear (and reveal the line of marksmen along the rails). The Ghosts were bedeviled by crossbow bolts and bullets until they closed to blunderbuss range. The Ghosts' gun crews went down in the blasts and one of the unfired blunderbusses on the Ghost ship fell overboard. The Ghosts tried to board but were repulsed at the rails with the loss of one of their crossbowmen. The Privateers cut loose and floated a short distance away to blast the Ghosts again with cannon and small arms. The Ghosts grappled the Empress again and Klaus fell to the new Ghost Captain, Sonja felled an enemy hero and forced the Ghosts to strike their colors. Several Ghost crew die outright. Klaus is captured in secret and defects to the Ghosts.
The Ghosts gain some treasure. The Privateers gain much of their cargo and become rich. Ali improves his aim and is assigned a crossbow. Sonja gains Dodge. The Ghosts replace a lost gunner for their cannons.

Wolf Hunt II. The Bloody Boys and the Ghosts II. Location: the Osso Hills. Weather and time of day--unknown. The big news of this fight was the capture of the Cannibal Boy and his joining of the Cursed Crew followed by Boss Pilla's promotion to hero. The Osso Hills are declared captured by the Bloody Boys which I assume means that they won the hunt. Edit: Ghosts report victory! Reports of capture are premature it seems...

X Marks the Spot. The Sea Patrol versus the Privateers. Location: an island in the Skull Sands. Weather--clear. Daytime. The Privateers put a big ruin between themselves and the elven bows. Bad idea because it left the elves free reign in the first movement phase. The elves moved to the nearest X and discovered the treasure. The rest of the game consisted of the Privateers doomed efforts to cross the entire board while an elf moved around 12 inches. Fortunately the Sea Patrol felt the need to sacrifice henchmen to slow the pursuit. This at least meant that the Sea Patrol had to pass a rout test to win the game. The Patrol secured the treasure but lost 3 henchelves in the process. The Privateers lost both of the swabbies that they had captured from the Patrol in earlier fights, but one beaten elf joins the Privateers' crew and another elf maid is pressed as a swabbie to replace the elf maid captured in the first fight between these crews. The recaptured (rescued?) elf maiden rejoined the Patrol.
Both warbands gain immense riches. The Privateers found a swivel gun and a lot of gold. The Patrol gained another hideous amount of gold, but only found cheap ale.

Reports from the front. Marneus wrote:

"Game #1, Osso Hills, Khorne vs. Elves, Wolf Hunt, Elves win

While encountering a pack of wolves, Dread Captain Albrikt notices a band of Elves in the distance. After putting down the wolves he leads his men in an all out attack on the Elves, but they fall back to safe territory. Captain Albrikt and his men manage to take a few Elves down in the assault, but Albrikt gets hit hard and goes down. The rest of the crew fight on but are quickly driven off by the flurry of arrows coming from the Elves.

Out of action:
2 Plunderers - 1 fights on, 1 joins the Elves
Captain Albrikt - Takes a deep wound, out for three games

Gains:
20 gc from wolf pelts
One Elf is pressed into service as a swabbie

Game #2, Osso Hills, Khorne vs. Undead, Wolf Hunt, Undead wins

Hunting wolves again. This time we encounter a band of Undead. With the Captain back on the ship things quickly get out of hand. Plunderer Hero Fasti and Cannibal Boy Faraldr go down quickly. The Khorne crew fights hard, but their lust for blood and the absence of the Captain has them making some poor decisions. After claiming some pelts they are forced to flee, leaving Faraldr  behind.

Out of action:
2 plunderers - 1 dead, 1 joins the undead as a swabbie.
Plunderer Hero Fast - An old battle wound flares up
Cannibal Boy Faraldr - Dies on the battlefield

Gains:
30 gc from wolf pelts
Boss Pilla shows valiant effort on the field and regains his status as a hero."

The Wolf Hunt
A Tale of Green Juju (from Week 4)

Wazza Pigkiller sniffed the air. The strong scent of wolf filled his nostrils, but even here in the heart of the land men call the Osso Hills, there was the scent of the Ded dat Walk. Da Ded rubbed out Snik’s Mob. Jus’ ovva dere… But Da Ded taken some uv da boyz dat wuz ded uns. Made ‘em da zombee, an’ dat no gud. Made da An’sez’tors duppy. Make da Waaagh all duppy. Duppy no gud. Take Boss Pilla, cut ‘im off from Gork.

GORK sez ta Wazza, “WAZZA, ded boyz no walk! Gotta make da Green juju! Res’ da ded boyz! Lay ‘em down! An’ rub dat Pilla out, he forget GORK!”

Wazza, he ken Gork’s plan. Go ta da Hart o’ da Hillz an’ make da Juju Scrap wit da Wolf Bruddas. Make da New Mob strong like Wolf. Wazza, he howl!

Interlude.
Suddenly in far off Senelite Quartermaster Ali bin Masuf had a moment of clarity. He found himself below decks on the Empress Ulrika’s Revenge. The Ancient the crew called the Maid was bathing his head. Ali brushed her hand away and forced himself up through the pain.

“You must go to the Kaptain!” He ordered the Maid. “Tell him we must march to the Heart of the Hills. There we will find our Strength!”

For the next two weeks the crew of the Empress endured a strange quest. First they sailed to a remote island in the Skull Sands. There they picked up a Warlock who hailed them from the beach shortly after the Sea Patrol captured the Kaptain’s own Hoodoo Man. From the Skull Sands they sailed north and west to a hidden anchorage on the island of Sartosa’s west coast. From the coast they marched inland toward the Hills. Ali acted as guide, although at times it was hard to tell if the big vacant man was the guide or if the tiny elf woman by his side wove their path. Or maybe the guide was that magicker, who called himself the Far Killer.

Wazza.
Wazza could see the rock now. Da Howlin’ Fang, dey calls it. Wazza go dere. Howl hiz Juju Call. An’ da wolf bruddas wuld runz ta make da scrap. Da wolfs an’ any udder four-legs dat ken Gork. Wazza howl!

The Crew of the Empress Ulrika’s Revenge.
The hills resounded with savage howls. It was bright day, yet the air rang with the cries of hunting wolves. The men readied their weapons and cast wall-eyed looks at the surrounding woods and scrubland.

Ali moved to the center of the clearing and stood with his hands empty, his arms spread wide and his face to the sun. “We are here!” he cried with glee.

The Maid had moved apart yards to his left. Her hands gripped the hafts of long sleek daggers. In her own tongue she whispered, “there are more than wolves abroad…” She smiled a grim smile and opened her arms. A huge grey wolf leapt upon her from a clump of bracken, jaws agape. She welcomed Death like a lover.

Wazza.
Wazza chanted songs of scrapin’. Songs of Gork. It wuz a gud day! Da boyz rubbed out lotza wolfs. Li’l Gooba, he kill da wolf! (Gotta keep da Eye on Gooba.) Wazza rub out Da Bear. Big sucka. Fight only Wazza. Wazza hear it sing ta Gork! Real Gud Day!

‘Cept doze humies… Wheres dey cum froms? Stick ol’ Spike gud. He spin, dey hit 'im 3, 4 time. One bounce off, hit Gooba! Dat Spike, boy peek'ed…

Da Duppy un! Throw hiz shiny arras at Wazza! Hur! Nevva sees dat wolf brudda! Take hiz ‘ead right off! Hur!

Dat udder un… Big fer a humie. Nevva fight. Wolf brudda jump him, jus’ shrug it off. Jus’ growl at it. Odd git!

Da humies cheat! Shoot da boyz wit da boomsticks an’ stuff! Hadda wit’draw, cunnin’ like. Da boyz learnz. Da boyz be back!

Da New Mob iz strong! Like WOLF!

Week 6--A good night for Privateers and Dark Elves.

Down on the Docks. Dark Elves, Sea Patrol and the Ghosts II. Location: the Town of Sartosa. Weather and time of day--Cear, daylight. The Dark Elves were helping some smugglers unload a ship. Silly smugglers. The Ghosts and the Patrol hoped to gain some of the loot, but the daytime crowds kept them far from the action. The Patrol picked off some of the ships crew and the Dark Elves quickly reloaded the ship, boarded and sailed away with the frightened smugglers.
Adding the Crowded rules changed the scenario too much, as the attacking warbands were pummeled by the stampeding crowd for 5 turns and the smugglers failed their first possible rout test long before the crowd thinned.
One of the Cursed is pressed by the Dark Elves. The smuggler Captain may have been captured by the Sea Patrol. The Dark Elves are allowed to find an Opulent Coach in order to spend their hoarded gold. The Ghosts find guns and the Patrol finds a double barreled blunderbuss!

Breakthrough. The Bloody Boys versus the Privateers. Location: The Town of Sartosa. Weather--Lightning Storm. Daytime. The Bloody Boys elected to defend. The Privateers struggled with the crowds, Ali's Madness and lightning. The Bloody Boys ambush was disrupted by the crowds as well, but the stampede lasted much shorter than the adjacent multi-player game. The new Elf Maid was blasted by lightning and the Elf crew was cut down by a Bloody Boy hero and then the Privateers rolled over the outnumbered Chaos cultists. Ali focused long enough to down 2 of the enemy with his sword! Only Captain De Gutzman and Boss Pilla did any significant shooting and they never wounded each other.
The Bloody Boys fled. One experienced Plunderer died and the Bloody Boys elf swabbie flees only to be re-captured by the Privateers.
The Boys had to retain all of their cargo to afford replacements. The Privateers find some rum which they sold before it could be consumed by the despondent elves. The Boys find a squig warhound to protect Pilla from enemy infiltrators. The Privateers are joined by a grateful Ogre. They also hire a halfling scout and a Holy Man.

Despite not much happening the multi-player game took a long time to complete, so we packed up after only one game apiece

The Ghost's Gold
A Duel on the High Sea wherein Gunter takes a Swim.

Kaptain Gunter De Gutzman eyed the black-sailed hulk to the east and cursed his luck. The wind had shifted and all his careful stalking was for naught. Cursed or not those bastards over there had the wind and the treasure and now there was nothing he could do about it. As he watched the fickle wind fill the black sails, the enemy ship swung her bow to the west and sailed toward him with alarming speed.

“They offer battle! Praise Mannan and run out the guns!” Gunter crowed with glee. “Helm, turn to port! Give me the wind abeam. Starboard gun, fire as we bear! Marksmen! Load and man your stations!”

As the Empress Ulrika’s Revenge turned to the south Alphonse’s marksmen jostled their way to the rails and gave the oncoming Ghosts a ragged volley. The cannon’s round shot fell short, but several missiles found their mark. Still the black ship came on, although she swung abeam to offer a return shot as she closed.

“Helsman! Bring her back to starboard! Get us close.” Gunter ordered has he ignored a crossbow bolt that suddenly appeared in the railing near his hip. The Empress swung back into the wind, but the maneuver brought them within easy range. The Ghost hulk suffered a solid hit from the cannon. All of the Ghosts gun crews were down bleeding by their cannon as well. There would be no gun duel, not until the lightly wounded got over their shock. Gunter saw a skeleton bearing a blunderbuss steady itself on the enemy rail. Gunter took a quick shot with his crossbow. He didn’t hit the skeleton square but the shock of the bolt overbalanced the un-living bones and it pitched over the rail into the sea.

The black hulk swung her bow toward the Empress Ulrika’s Revenge and closed to board. Lines snaked out from the Ghost’s bow and hooks bit into the Empress’ rails. Gunter saw a startled looking enemy crossbowman trying to secure the crossbow and draw a cutlass as the distance closed. He glimpsed an enemy officer aim a pistol over the marksman’s shoulder. Then Gunter felt himself falling.

He sputtered back into consciousness in a watery world filled with dull booming noises and faint shrill screams. As Gunter broke the surface of the sea the sounds returned at full volume. He was nearly deafened. He could see anxious faces above him. He grasped for a line and hoped it led to his ship not the Ghost. He was hauled upward. Cursing straining bodies swung swords and fired pistols as he rose toward the ship. Ali hauled him back over the rail onto the poop deck. Gunter felt a surge of elation at surviving as he tried to reconcile his recent memory of his ship with the bloody mess he had regained. There were bodies everywhere to for’ard. Some moved feebly, others lay still. Gunter could not grasp it, but he needed to regain control.

“Here they come again!” someone screamed from the aft castle above him. The ship lurched and timbers strained as the two ships crashed together. Gunter got himself turned toward starboard but he had no time for any meaningful impression as something struck him a wicked blow to the head. He lost consciousness again.

Kaptain Gunter De Gutzman came round to a confusing double image of two Sonjas accepting a shimmering yet rusty sword from two horrible Ghost Captains. Gunter was propped against the main mast facing the stern. He could hear his crews’ cheers so he guessed that they had won. Gunter smiled. He tilted his head back as his vision cleared. Above him he could see his banner fluttering in the east wind. Not bad luck at all, he mused. Gunter still didn’t have the wind, but he now had the Ghost’s gold!

Arr there me boyz! Been just enjoying reading the Pirate campaigns of Sartosa. The models, the scenery, the awsome reports, u guys rock Sir, yes sir! !

But I did notice one thing... their aint no stinkin ratz anywhere! No vermin! Everyone knows where there r ships theres ratz, and where theres ratz theres skavin. Just a thought, an encounter with them long-tooth vermin would be a nice mix. U have orcs and gabbos, I think a rat or two would spice things up.

But beyond wanting vermin, keep up the good work!

O, yeah, me and buddy were starting a pirate campain ( but he decided to go back to school , psshht), and then I stumbles on this. And rules for lizardmen or skavin pirates?

Hey Fungo,
Welcome aboard, mate! Lots of inspiration for a pirate on Tom's!

The campaign rules we are using are found here--

http://sites.google.com/site/styroheim/sartosa

There is also a Sartosa thread in the Rules and Gameplay section for rules discussion and we borrow from the Flame On Sartosa campaigns as well. You'll find some rats there. There's only 6 of us so we have a limited selection of warbands, although everybody wanted to play orcs this time round!

Fair winds and calm seas!

Pirate [pronounced: Pie Right] Rat Lads sounds COOL & VERY in character. With a selection of watch caps, striped pantaloons, the odd hook & pegleg they have some REALLY interesting possibilities...a COLD shower MIGHT be in order here. Suspect

Week 7: The Campaign Curse.

It is week number 7 and it was not lucky. Playtable had to work, EvilTed misplaced his warband and Chad had to work late. So we band of three played on... Due to a spate of hired sword hiring the Privateers became the highest rated warband by 4 points!

The Stool Pigeon. The Patrol, the Dark Elves and the Privateers. Location: the Pirate Current. Weather and time of day: Clear, calm daylight. The three warbands had tracked Luca the Louse to a jungle island in the Pirate Current. Luca became disoriented or else he planned to betray the Patrol, either way he ran toward the Privateers. The Patrol's tame elf mage cut Luca down with magic elf bolts. Kurt ran out into the no man's land between the warbands and claimed Luca's head.
The Dark Elves attempted to trap the Privateers while avoiding the Patrol. The Privateers fought a slow rear guard as Kurt ran for the Empress. The Dark Elf's ogre bodyguard fought the Privateer's ogre and the nameless Troll Slayer until the main force of the Dark Elves cut the Privateer ogre down. The Troll Slayer got the other ogre and then the wave of elves engulfed him. The Privateers unloaded 2 blunderbusses and lots of crossbow bolts and pistol shots into the elves for no real effect. As the Dark Elves moved to crush the rest of the Empress' crew Kurt dashed to safety and the game ended.
The troll slayer was the only casualty. The Privateers manage to spring a crossbowman from the Patrol's clutches while they stalked the Dark Elves. The Privateers also found some hard tack... The Dark Elves found medical supplies and gave Healing Herbs to most of their heroes. The Patrol was mysterious as always...

Despite the loss of the Troll Slayer the Privateers remained the Highest rated warband.

Wrecking. The same warbands. Location: The Pirate Current. Weather and time of day: heavy rain with sunshine later in the day. A poor Tilean cog was stranded in the lagoon. The Dark Elves approached from the east, the Patrol from the south and the Privateers from the north. The Dark Elves moved quickly toward their cousins and drove them reeling from the lagoon. Only one hench-elf died. The Patrol collected their full plunder and returned to their ship.
The Privateers had boarded the Tilean wreck and dispatched most of the crew, but 2 fought on as the Dark Elves closed and the sun broke through the clouds. Alphonse fired some round shot at the elves but failed to slow their advance. The Dark Elves boarded from the south and slowly forced the men from the wreck. Kurt and Kaptain De Gutzman fell and the survivors pulled their fallen comrades from the melee and left the wreck to the elves. One elf swabbie is captured by the Dark Elves as are many of the Tilean crew. The Privateers managed to capture a fallen Dark Elf and one of the Tilean crew. Kaptain De Guzman must recover from a serious arm wound. Kurt took a Deep Wound, but both will only miss one game.
The Privateers find a Blank Flag. Hmmm, what flag will they choose?
The Dark Elves find crossbow pistols and more poisons.
Fleur Mabb suffers from a Nervous Condition from now on. Estella is now subject to Frenzy.

Ja, Playtable is out for the rest of the month, which means that we are down to my personal scenery and extras like ships. So our games aren't as scenic, ah well.

We've been having some issues with posting on Tom's for the last few weeks anyway, I don't know it the problem is on our end or not, although I'm inclined to believe that it is for myself. I'm using an aging brain and an obsolete computer.

A link to one of Playtable's many photostreams--

thanks for the support!

Week 8--The Khorne Raiders fight the Sea Patrol.
Evil Ted had to work AGAIN. So the Bloody Boys fought the law and the law won.

Reports by Marneus:
Game #1, Elves vs. Khorne, Guards! Guards! Guards! Chance Encounter, The Port of Sartosa, Nighttime, Heavy Rain
Elves win

Miserable weather for a fight. Spirits are low, the Captain's still on the ship healing from a previous battle. While looking for a place to hole up for the night we run into a band of Elves. Looking to lighten the feelings of despair, we launch into some stragglers hoping to take them out quietly, but this was not the case. Some pesky citizens raise a call for Guards. Making a hasty retreat we lose site of one of the crew and Boss Pillas pet squig.

Out of action
Boss Pilla's Squig (warhound) - died
Plunderer henchmen - died
Sperla (Amok hero) - blinded in one eye, otherwise is fine.

Game #2, Elves vs. Khorne, Skirmish, The Port of Sartosa, Nighttime, clear skies
Elves win

Dread Captain Albrikt is well again and looking for a fight. Uncaring who should meet the sharp end of his cutlass or be shot down by his trusty pistol, he leads his bloodthirsty band into town. It seems only the Elves are out tonight and before much of a fight is started we have already lost to many crew members to survive. The Elves too many and Khorne as mighty as they are, too few.

Out of action
Plunderer henchmen - survives
Boss Pilla's new squig, Slobba' - survives
Uxi (Flayerkin) - survives

Not a bad week, lost a couple crew but managed to scrounge up some fresh replacements. Also managed to located some stock on Charms and Rabit's feet. Warband rating started at 189, finished at 258. Was gaining +3 xp for fighting Chris. Maybe I can stay above 200 this time!

Standings after Week 8
The Port of Sartosa:
Sea Patrol: 7 BP
DE: 6 BP
Ghosts:  5 BP
Khorne: 4 BP
Wastelanders: 3 BP

Edit--Week 9 may see a reunion of all our players, or Evil Ted may have to work again, we'll find out Thursday! Smile

Week #9. Crazy stuff!
We had 5 players for the first time in weeks. EvilTed chose not to join us, but otherwise everyone was able to attend.

Here Be Monsters. The Sea Patrol, the Dark Elves and the Privateers. The Caves of the Damned. Men could see 12 inches in the gloom. The Patrol and the Privateers had both risen above the Dark Elves in warband rating, but together they stalked the evil killers in the twisted passages. The Dark Elves suffered some losses but rolled over their enemies in the end. One Dark Elf Fellblade is killed by a blunderbuss blast and a Corsair is captured by the Privateers. The Dark Elf standard bearer is lamed by a crossbow bolt from Senor Capone.
The Dark Elves killed the traitorous Corsair who joined the Privateers after the fight at the Tilean wreck. Sergio fell into the monster's lagoon lair and disappeared under the surface. When the Dark Elves looted the mostly submerged cave they found him barely breathing, wedged on a ledge. Sergio was sold into slavery by the vengeful Elves. Sonja lost an eye fighting the surviving Fellblade. Alphonse went down before a wave of flashing swords, but recovered fully from his wounds.
A hired Shadow Warrior is killed by the Dark Elves and one of the Patrol's heroes suffers multiple injuries from a sorcerous blast. She is blinded in one eye, suffers a chest wound and lost a Pit Fight and thus her coveted double-barreled blunderbuss.
The Privateers make just enough off their loot to pay their hired warriors. The Dark Elves find that the young Behemoth had little treasure although another Halfling Cookbook is found along with some stale Hardtack.

Wolf Hunt. The Bloody Boys and the Ghosts II. On a clear night in the Osso Hills the two warbands engaged in a wolf killing frenzy. Once the wolves were dispatched the Ghosts shot up the Bloody Boys and the Khorne worshippers fled back into the hills. 2 of the Bloody crew were captured. One was ransomed back to Khorne, the other was a lowly crewman who met a less desirable fate... I hear no talk of fabulous treasures uncovered in the Hills.

Standings in the Wilderness, Caves and Islands after week 9:

Caves of the Damned:
Dark Elves: 6 BP
Ghosts: 4 BP
Sea Patrol: 2 BP
The Wastelanders: 1 BP

The only thing of note for the Ghost Pirates is that after we poked crossbow bolts into the Khorne boys, we found a hunting rifle.
I can't decide...keep or sell?

Speaking of the Bloody Boys, a report arrived from Marneus:

"Wolf Hunt, Osso Hills, Nighttime, clear weather
Khorne vs. Undead, Undead win

As Captain Albrikt and his crew set out AGAIN to hunt wolves, an Undead Captain and his mixed crew are seen in the distance. As Albrikt and his 1st mates attempt to separate the undead the rest of the crew mop up some of the wolves for some quick cash then head out to pick off the Undead stragglers. It's a dark night but as Albrikt and the mates rejoin the rest of the crew and prepare to launch the assault the moon comes out from behind the clouds just long enough for the dead to make some crossbow shots that unfortunately hit right on target. After only managing to take out one of the Undead fighters Albrikt and his crew head back to the ship and collect their booty on the way.

Out of Action
Albrikt - full recovery
Uxi (flayerkin) - fights on!
Eddie (henchman plunderer) - dies
Slobba (Boss Pilla's squig) - recovers easily
Sperla (Amok hero) - taken hostage, but by a rare show of kindness is released to rejoin Albrikt and the crew."

Skaven: For the most part, Master and I agreed that we made too many variations as is.. but if you want to make a Skaven Pirate group, go ahead. Personally, I think they fit in Sartosa fantastically, but not so much as pirates... let their Ninja-pride show through! Give them access to smoke bombs (from BTB), for one. Also, this is a house rule of mine, but any model armed with a 'blowpipe' may use it as a snorkel to 'hide' while in water... just like ninjas historically did!

Scenarios: There's a lot of scenarios on there I don't recognize... awesome! You'll have to tell me where you found them. (ex. Knives in the Dark, the Hermit, Dark Summoning, etc.) It's a shame I don't see 'Wyrdstone Hunt' show up much, that one's a fairly easy/fun one to do, especially when you add the heavy crates.

Cavern-Mouthed Behemoth: I took the term from a Warhammer Ship's Compenpium list, but from the illustration/description, I always assumed it was a kind of anglerfish or lanternfish.

Safari Miniatures: I know, those things are awesome. I haven't found any sharks or crocs yet, but I did grab an Egyptian tube (for next time we play Relics or Khemri), and I bought a fantastic sea dragon... he was our Sea Drake last time we played 'Here Be Monsters'

Hey Styrofoamking!
Scenarios--I write a lot of scenarios for our various campaigns and then I resurrect them in others. Smile

Wyrdstone Hunt--I cut it from most/all of the urban settings because it doesn't fit for me. Most of the other scenarios in the urban settings are specific robberies, assassination or brawls between factions which fits with my version of the plot. Its the default scenario in the Caves and, thus, hasn't been rolled there yet.

Safari--we've got the tube of sharks, the tube of alligators, the Hermit Crab (thanks Deafnala!) and a sea turtle that now has multiple heads. I've looked at the Sea Dragon but we have several other toys to use for that already.

Scenarios: As far as some of yours, I'd love to get a copy of them to post on the site (which I'll update ONE of these days.... so many things on my plate.)

If you want factions, feel free to try 'Warring Houses' as a two-player, if it suits your fancy. I hope one of these days you get to play 'Governor's Daughter'... you don't seem to play many multiplayer games, but if you do, it's probably one of my favorites.

One of these days I want to write a true, 'faction/backer' point system... I was saving it for the day/year I write a Tilean setting. For example: a merchant with outstanding debt is being targeted by several factions. This faction wants him dead, these factions want him taken alive, a fourth wants him protected or to escape. Depending on who wins and who the merchant is turned over to, you can gain favor or displeasure from certain Tilean lords.
