just got blizzcon tix

i just wanted to post (because i'm proud of myself lol) that i was able to get blizzcon tix this morning WITH OUT WAITING IN THE CUE, i dunno how but i beat the 10,000 people behind me in line lol

i dont even know if anybody likes blizzard here

the convention is really boring and crappy, and people pay insane amounts of money to go!!! there was a stuffed toy you could only buy at the show last year ($40) and they sold off ebay for $300

this is the time of year when starving students with a moderate understanding of supply and demand make some money lol

INCREDIBLE! I realized from my sons & friends that WoWC was addictive, but, at $1200 for tickets to a Con, it becomes a pricier form of cocaine or smack!

To be quite honest, after playing WoW for 4 years(then quitting finally) I'd rather spend the 1200 bucks on some cocaine, booze, strippers and have a massive party : /

no kidding, people are weird. its a really bad convention too, there's nothing to do but buy stuff and beta test D3 and SC2 (10min limit)

Perhaps you can sell these places on Ebay, and have a massive amount of money !

I realise that you obviously think that that's a good deal, but I just can't hel thinking 'that's a high-quality kayak or mountain-bike or crossbow or computer or ...,' (That puctuation just looks wrong even though it's correct.)

I think you misunderstand, he bought the tickets at the RRP and intends to sell them for 600 each on ebay, wow nerds are dumb like that to pay that much for blizzcon tickets.

@LR: you're right, you can buy all that stuff for that much, but it's hard (I managed it: my kayak was £100 from an army-surplus, my bike's made of bits from the tip (note to johnny-f'riners: a tip is not a dump, you can buy stuff there), my crossbow's self-made and I got my laptop VAT free due to some dubious stuff).
