| COOL addition to the War Band. I think your painting technique is going to work WONDERFULLY with the Possessed. I'm looking forward to seeing the Lads in their full color GLORY. Keep up the GOOD WORK! | |

| They are pretty cool! they have a lot of caracter. It could be the pictures but it looks a little like you greenstffwork has a few fingerprints on them, you can cover it if you paint a small layer of PVA on it. | |

| Thanks for all the comments Svenn: Well, the (first) bird-face possessed is from old chaos warrior, chaos spawn, and I think the legs is from some old minotaur. The things on the shoulders is from 40 k orcs, I think. The tail from some tyranids and the claw, well, not really sure, maybe some old deamon prince? Magnoliafan: Thanks for the tip

| Hello sir. Your painting has improved drastically in the last five years! May I add that your Pirates & Fishmen are looking particularly splendid. My biggest criticism is of the Fishmen. It's their eyes! These would definately look 10 times more striking if the lidless eyes did not have pupils. While the eye-patch is a nice touch and a lot of fun, the painting of the eyes detracts from the overall presentation of this warband. Rather than comedic (which would be okay) the eyes make the warriors look well, un-warrior-like. Judging by your other work, you can do better than this. I recommend repainting the eyes, without pupils, in either a light colour of blue, green, violet or yellow. Whichever makes them look the fishiest. Which components were used to make the bodies of the Fishmen?? The legs are beast-like and the webbed arm components don't look entirely familiar. It looks like you are a big Citadel's fan so I am presuming the components are all plastics from the new Daemons range. Regards, Werekin. p.s. Just so as everybody is clear, Fishmen of the Aquapolis don't exist!! | |

| Thank you all! Werekin: I will think about the eyes, it's a good idea. I'll try it when some insperation come by! And the fishmen bodys is from the new bloodletters (or not just the body, the whole model, the fishmen is actually bloodletters without the face and the horns, and with some green stuff) dwi: Well, the colors I used was Rotting Flesh, then Gryphonne Sepia, and over that Devlan Mud...I think it made a fine Evil flesh color. Now some update..I have repainted the whitestuff and made it more tzeentech-isch..(I will fix with some detalis on them later, like the spots where the greenstuff is visible and so, they are like 95% done or something like that ) First, the two possessed: Brethren with spears: The clan this far: First the heroes: And the henchmen: (totally 12 pictures) | |

| TWISTED MISTERS! The Possessed are absolutely HORRIFYING...appropriately so. You have an EXCELLENT feel for the subject. They are all VERY cool & nicely done, but the Satyr of Unpleasantness is my favorite. VERY WELL DONE! | |

| Hi mutant lovers.
It appears that Fishmen do indeed exist, based on this published account by Warhammer fiction writer David Bishop from 'Massacre in Marienburg' (page 298);
He cried out in pain as his legs went numb, toppling the captain into the water. Down and down he plunged into the dark, bubbles racing by him. Kurt forced his eyes open underwater. What he saw was like some atrocity exhibition.
Creatures as much fish as human were feasting on the fallen militiamen, ripping away chunks of skin and flesh and hair from still thrashing fingers. The dark water was stained blacker still by the flood of blood from all the wounds and corpses. Bodies with half-eaten faces drifted in between those still dying, while monsters with both limbs and tentacles toyed with drowning men, mimicking their death throes. One of the monsters noticed Kurt and swam towards him, legs kicking as one like a fish's tail. Elsewhere in the 2008 novel, these aquatic man-daemons are described as 'black' and 'sleek', in this Old World setting where events occur post-SoC.
Regards,
Werekin.

| Thanks Maikacir and DeafNala Cool, my fishmen do exist, and both limbs and tentacles, just like mine Was going to do some archers to my pirates, so I bought the new empire archers, but them was just to cool to become archers so I made a new Averland warband insteed. Here some really early WIPs: Captain: Bearjeagers: Sergeant and youngblood: Mountainguards with Sword and shield: Mountainguards with halberd: Marksmen with crossbow: Marksmen with longbow: Marksman with handgun: Gonna paint them in averland color scheme: black and yellow.
