W: Mordheim witch/crone

Hi all,

I'm very keen to get my hands on the mordheim witch/crone model that used to be available for a Baba Yaga style centrepice for my Vampire Counts army. If anyone has one they are willing to trade or sell pleeeeaaassseee let me know, as the little blighter appears to be harder to find than hen's teeth.

Are you looking for that specific model, or will other female undead models suffice? I have a few models that might work. Otherwise, a link to the pic of this model might help.

Reaper's Witches Coven [Dark Heaven #02904] has a couple close matches to the GW Mordheim Witch.

Wow, I thought I had seen all the mordheim releases, but I've never seen that witch before. It was specifically manufactured and released for mordheim?

PitFighterTrainer - I'd certainly be interested in trading for your heinrich Kemmler. What stuff are you looking for at the moment? I've got various bits and pieces lying around... Am I right in thinking that yours is unpainted, and not the one in the photo?

Deafnala - thanks for the pic- they are nice, but I've got my heart set on the crone if possible (though I'll keep those Reapers in mind as a backup).

And the mordheim witch model is indeed a good one, and it was Mordheim specific (a hired sword I presume) but sadly OOP now. Some of you may remember the original (I think) Tale of Four Gamers article in WD? The guy that did the Stirland Empire force used it as a hedge witch to count as his battle wizard.

Yes, it's unpainted, but out of the blister and based, simply to have a model to use. My witch is this model:

May I ask where she is from? Do you have any painted samples of this model?

She one of the TownFolk from Reaper. She's the Strumpet in the Stumpet, Blacksmith & Beggar pack.

Thanks, Al! I have some of the other Townfolk on my "watch list" but I didn't know about these. The Reaper site is not as good at finding minis as I'd like it to (or my Search-Fu is just failing). Well, now I found her. Thank you!

The Reaper search thingy IS a pain. You can get the Town Folk by entering townfolk with no spaces.

Back on subject: The GW Witch was definitely one of their nicer pieces. The Old Girl even had a skeletal crow perched on her shoulder. I painted one as a commission, & it was a treat to do up.
I found this witch by Enigma [Yhedra, Elderly Witch]. She's a bit pricey a $14.29, but REALLY COOL!

Hah, that Enigma witch is pretty nice! Like you said, possibly a little pricey (though I have no idea how much I'm going to have to pay for the GW witch...).

PitFighterTrainer - do you happen to have any GW wraith models? I'm looking to pick up a few more but don't really want to pay £5 each at GW...
