Just started back painting after a 15 year hiatus, discovered Mordheim, excellent, but I digress.

I have just bought a 20 pack of Night runners and I have read through various forums that the night runners have everything that the Mordheim Warphunters have in the way of miniatures and bits only in double the numbers.

Can anyone verify if this is correct and if there is more in the Warphunters box will the Mordheim extra sprune make up the difference

Thanks.

I cannot verify for ceratin but I have read the same thing. Since I just got my box of nightrunners last week I can say that it seems to be enough to make a band although maybe not with all the weapons you want; small number of slings is what most people would complain about I think. The extra mordheim sprue is exactly that extra; but not skaven specific it was present in the mordheim box set it may or may not be useful to you.

Thanks this is what I thought, looks like I will have to sculpt some green stuff slings from what I have heard Skaven are great with slings, I will have to find some warplock pistols though

i asked the same question here. It looks like they are the same, only the Mordheim models are overpriced for the amount you get.

The accessory sprue is for any warband, it has a treasure chest, and various ropes, weapons lanterns...

You can still get that sprue for $8 in the bits section of the GW online store if you dig deep enough.

Sadly the building sprue is no longer available Crying or Very sad

I suppose you get a discount for buying in bulk, and stragely enough it is cheaper to fly minis halfway around the world than it is to walk to a hobby shop 5 minutes away.
