Actually, I think I never said that, as I love washed and think they are one of GW's best inventions I don't mean to sound TOO much like an old Grump, which, since I AM an old Grump, CAN be difficult , BUT GW has a tendency to take credit for other folks ideas. I've been doing washes for more than thirty years, AND it wasn't an original idea on my part.  | |

| Yeah, I did not mean that the technique was an invention of theirs (even GW is suggesting washing your models for ages in their publications), but I don't know of any well known ready-to-use washes and all my attempts on doing them myself failed, so I am glad they started their range. And judging from what I have seen regarding the use of washes in the painting community, that's the way many people perceive it. | |
