Greetings from the Underhive!!

Hey all, I'm new here (hence the post...) so just thought I'd let my presence be known. Some may already know me from Eastern Fringe/B&C. Now for some generic info (done in an easy to read list format!!):

- I'm 18 (19 in May).
- At university, studying BA Geography (though think I am gonna change to Psychology).
- I have been gaming since I was 8.
- Recently getting back into the hobby properly last year after a 3 year hiatus.
- My favourite part is painting, though I am still not happy with my work.
- I play 40k (3000pts-ish Space Marines, 2000pts Chaos Space Marines, maybe starting Radical Daemonhunters and Imperial Guard (depends on the new 'dex)).
- Necromunda (Orlocks, Escher, Cawdor, Ratskins, Ash Wastes Nomads, PDFD, Necromunda in Space (less cheesey than it sounds...), possibly Enforcers and Delaque).
- Mordheim/Bordertown Burning (Reikland)
- Blood Bowl (Humans)
- Warmachine (Protecorate of Menoth).
- Urban War (Triads, Viridians).

Mordheim was my first 'specialist' game I got into when it was first released, thoughh I got distracted by 40k and the lack of opponents (as in 'none') didn't help when I was younger and more interested in gaming. Having been attracted back to wargaming via Necromunda (my first love, though I never played it, just loved the fluff), Mordheim was a natural progression, especially after seeing all the updates (especially Empire in Flames) and re-reading fluff. I love alot of the WHFB fluff/minis, but never really got into the game itself, so Mordheim kinda lets me dable and focus on the smaller scale/aspects of WHFB I always liked. I am currently planning (I have ALOT of stuff on ATM...) on doing a Reikland/Human warband, though require a particular OOP box set, that will be more a modelling/painting project than a gaming one (BUT will be fieldable due to numbers). I am currently working on getting a digi-camera to document my work for you (and various other forums).

I hope to be able to (hopefully) be a helpful, or at least active member, of this forum!!

WOW!! (not as in the MMORPG...) Thanks for such a warm welcome!!

Eliazar - I am still after a digi-cam (though am actively eBaying ATM), so work will be a little slow coming, but I am in a 'legacy gang' project on EFF so will post pics (done by someone else) of one of my 'better' peices (8 hours-ish?) ASAP in the Sci-Fi section. The Reiklanders (IF I can get the box I need) will be the next 'proper' project (some pratcice peices first) after my WHFB Slaanesh (OLD, painting to sell, so not great).

Ethlorien - I paint forces for, rather than play, alot of these. There aren't many people I've found local to me who do anything bar 40K/WHFB, but that's cool as it means I can play around with models/lists I like, over 'tactical' builds (though they are all legal, so can be used). I'd like to try my hand at some others - Hoardes, Confrontation and Infinity - but for the later I am yet to feel that my painting could do the minis justice (though I have a coule for 'practice').

Chad - I am currently (don't know yet what I am gonna be doing next year...) at the University of Southampton (proper, not Southampton Solent... ). Interestingly Exeter was my insurance choice!!

Lanyssa Ryssyll - Thanks, I've been pretty lucky, starting so late and all, as I have managed to amass quiet a large and comprehensive collection of the 'classic' (NOT 'old') minis of the gangs I have (I have all the Orlocks & spares. I am only missing 2 Cawdor, 4 'skins and 1 Escher. The Ash Wastes & NiS stuff is so WIP it is still in the box...). The 'classic' gangs be awhile before they are shown though, as I love the minis so much that I want to do the best possble job I can, so pretty much everything is going first (for practice)... though NiS and Ash Wastes will be done by the end of 09, life permitting... (check out http://easternfringe.com/forum/portal.php) if you like Necomunda. One of the best forums on the net!! (Why I joined here actually, not just the link but also this seemed the 'fantasy' ying to EFF's 'sci-fi' yang)

Welcome! If you need mini's, try the trading section. Also, I have a slew of units that I won't ever get to, so if you have a list of things you are looking for, post it and we can help.

I've got a friend studying psychology (actually, I think she changed to law) at Exeter! If you do end up in Exeter we'll have to play some Mordheim! (Or else!)

Thanks for the link, I have actually a lot of Necromunda's minis, I loooove Delaque's house and Redemptionnists (I'm searching for the one with the big axe), but never played a Necromunda's game
