A Clan is reborn.

Due to the Awesome DeafNala I am now able to redo my Dwarfs, kickin it old school.
Some back history on this clan is as follows.
The whole clan is divided into three seperate Dwarf Families.
The StoneFists: The High Nobles, Aristocrats, the wealthy merchants and those who can supply enough Mithril and Gold to buy a mass array of Mercenaries to help in any cause. Thier Standard is Bold Blue covering half the shield followed by Green in the upper left corner and Yellow in the right.

The EarthWalkers: The ones who wander the forests outside the great Citadels on patrol for any upcoming Greenskin attack and those who provide meat for the long winters in the Mountains. They mainly use smaller handweapons, mixed with Crossbows or Firearms. Thier standard is a Green background with a Tree growing in the middle to symbolize the embodiement of the Clan with One Blue , Yellow and Red Leaf.

The SteelAxe Family: These Dwarfs are the military might of the Clan. Composed of the most Stout Warriors ever seen and guided by the Most devout Pallidans, and thier weapons enchanted by the ever vigilant Rune Priests. Thier standard is the lower half yellow, and in the upper half Blue on the far left, Red in the middle and Green on the far right. Then there are three crosses upon thier standard, to signify the unity of all the Families for the sake of the Clan.

Colors:
Blue. The color of the Stonefists. Represents the regalty of thier family and the every presence of thier wisdom to lead thier people to greatness once more.

Green. The color of the EarthWalkers. Represents the every growing of greatness on the clan and thier love for things that come from the earth.

Yellow. The color of the SteelAxe Family. Represents the Kindred Spirit of this family and thier desire to do whatever it takes, to the last Dwarf, to preserve the Military Might of thier proud people.

Red. The Clans color of unity, with the blood they had and will share together to preserve thier rightfull place in the world.

First off we have High Thane Drugart Stonefist. The oldest of the StoneFist Clan and the most powerful. He has united the three Families into one massive clan to repel any invaders and to reclaim thier Great Keeps within the Old Mountains. He wields the Great Gromgril Hammer with Jewels of each families colors withing it, enchanted by the greatest Rune Priests, Drugart will not be taken as a weak opponent.

Next we have Colb StoneFist. The most wealthiest of all the Stonefists, perhaps all the Dwarfs. Dont let his fine clothing fool you, He is deadly with his blade.

Hadim SteelAxe, the Great Paladin leader of the Family SteelAxe. An extremely talented and gifted warrior trained in battle since he took his first steps.

Here we have Tric EarthWalker. Second in Command of the Earthwalker Family(Sorry, but the lead Ranger is still drinking ale in the Pub). A notable tracker and swings a mighty axe that will hew a tree in two with one mighty blow, this Dwarf is a sight to behold on the field of battle.

Thanks Magokiron, I really am enjoying painting them alot. Im alot better at painting Orcs, but I feel like I am getting better with the Dwarfs. Right now I am working on the Leader of the EarthWalker Family. Hes been a hoot to paint. Well back to work.

After long years of waiting, the Lads have FINALLY received some loving attention. Nice work, Drugart. Your technique improves with each batch of minis you post. The Lads look pleased with their nice. new coat of paint. I REALLY like the choice of colors on the Ranger. WELL DONE, Amigo!

Now there seems to be some clamoring sounds coming from the dusty corridors of the Vault of Pack-Rattiness [deep voices chanting "Texas & Paint"]. I may have exile somemore of these malcontents.

Well I got the Family Leader of the Earthwalkers done. I should get him up and posted today sometime. Thanks for the kind words, and I need to buckle down and try to get them even better next time.

Well finally He left the pub, after a couple of kegs of Bugmans finest, have you! I present Aarok EarthWalker. Leader of the EarthWalker family, Hes been around for many of century and knows how to hide amongst the vegetation or mountain cliffs he has roamed most of his life. Hell on wheels with his Dwarfen Axe, and a crack shot with his pistol(if he can ever find it in his big, darn pack).

Up next we have Dorin SteelAxe, Sergeant At Arms for his family. Countless conflicts has this Dwarf seen in his life. Many times, Greenskins have fallen before his might. Tread Lightly, unless you have a couple of pints in your hand.



And then there is Bram QuickFingers. This Dwarf is one of Colb StoneFists favorite Henchman. His own personal Thief at hand. Quick as a Jackalope, nimble as a walrus, and silent like a Yak, Bram will have your purse in a jiffy and a knife in your back!

Cool to see all these classics models, are they all GW's? I love that you give all your warriors a different heraldy.

COOL STUFF! Bram is my current favorite; nice eyes [wink]. Actuall, he's supposedly an assassin, but then what does GW know about Dwarf culture? WELL DONE!

Yeah I was looking up, on what he is and I do believe an assasin too. I just like the Thief more. Reminds me of my old UO days.

And here was me thinking a cross between a rabbit and an antelope would be hare!
