I made some Zombie Skaven models, for kicks. More Chaotic Skaven
mini's, but you get the pic. I like the warband, and was wondering if
someone had heard of a Mixture Undead Warband? Like a Necromancer that
decided to raise some skeletons and zombies from a battlefield, and got
a mixture of all sorts of followers. Skaven, Human, Orc, Goblin,
Dwarf, Elf, etc.

Having an Undead Warband of Rejects would be pretty sweet, I would think. I might have to start converting one up...

I would imagine that a Zombie is a Zombie no matter what their racial stock. AT LAST, my beloved Goblins are on a level playing field with those effete, pointy eared Elven Pansies.

No, those are chaotic skulls. Hence, it's a reject. I figured they were almost like golem-zombies. Using what body parts there were available to create the zombies.

I was tossing around the idea of converting an undead skink or skaven for when one of my heroes dies and is unfortunately reanimated by the opposing warband. Lacking suitable skulls (and not confident enough to try my hand at them), that project has been on hold indefinitely.

Come to think of it, that's why I did these! Zombies reanimated from other warband heroes and such. Yeah, a LOT of my conversion and things were first time attempts at anything relating to Mordheim. Ask Da Bank. Most was learning how to model, what works, and plenty of what doesn't work...

You made this entirely with the Mordheim/gutter runners sprue, didn't you?

In the skaven warrior regiment sprue, they give you a skeletal skaven head.

So you got 4 in the box, but they rarely are used by the skaven players for their regiments, so if you know somebody who plays WHFB with skavens, asking him/her to give a pair of rat skulls could be a good alternative for your "undead rats" models.

Anyway these look interesting enough, and you have your own concept.

Well, those models were given to a friend to paint, and use. I will ask him to see if they are completed or not, and if so, I am sure his painting techniques are well enough to awe you all.

There were actually a bunch of zombies for each of the warbands made for mordhiem back in 2005 I think, you had zombie witch hunters through to zombie dwarfs, though they were only 1 or 2 varients for each zombie, you should still be able to fiund them on the GW online store, failing that try e-bay, I found a few people selling huge lots of them.

Yes, I ran into two blisters of those units, for WHFB. Cursed Company is what I found. I have 2 Humans, 1 Goblin, 1 Skaven and 1 Dwarf. They seem to look pretty good, just wondered if most people kept to the concept of the basic skeleton and ghouls being human. I might be working on some mini's this weekend, and they might include some Ghoul conversions.
