| So I recently bought a couple of kroot sprues and it struck me that the kit's ridiculously good in terms of extra bits that can be used for conversions etc, I don't really have any plans to actually build any kroot but there are plenty of things I can use for other things. So yeah what are your favourite GW plastic kits, especially in terms of which have the best range of accessories within?! (Anticipates about a million replies saying flagellants ) | |

| Any of the new High Elf Plastics (Lion Chariot, Dragon, and High Elf Noble). They all come with tons of options, fit together beautifully, have loads of leftover bits that are just gold. I was so impressed with those kits. | |

| The Cadian Heavy Weapons teams are one of the kits I am partial to; the extra heavy weapons and gear are pretty nice. I also like the Empire Flagellant kit, it comes with lots of scrolls and pouches and other gubbins. A friend of mine recommended the Skaven Plague Monk kit for good gubbins as well.
Edit: I forgot the Space Marine Commander box and the Command Squad box; they both come with loads of bits.

| Yes, the Plague Monks have a fair number of nice gubbins. ATM I'm using some of them for a mounted chaos mage. The new marauder horsemen are quite nice as well, just the fact that there's 17 heads for five models is nice, you can choose your looks, if you want helmeted or bare headed.
As to other manufacturers of plastic it's come a few the last year or so. You can get plastic romans and celts, napoleonics, American Civil War and such historical minis. I don't know of any other fantasy plastics, however.

| Plague Monks, Empire Militia, Plastic Giant and of course Flagellant sprues. A special mention to most plastic Vampire counts sprues, Zombies, Skeletons etc. Good for most converting and basing projects | |

| Being a Mordjeim-mercenaries fan I'm going tohave to go with the Empire Militia box (I've bought about 5 now, quite a worrying though that I've spent arounf £100 on militia ). But I also love the helblaster/rocket battery kit, fantastic wood and gears - plus you get either a load of rockets or a helbalster barrel left over. And the crew and bits are fantastic. | |

| Oh I love the Empire Militia box. I have an entire Empire army built out of 95% militia models. There are bits from the old state troops and the new Empire General in there, but a very few. The army is based on the force raised in the book Mark of Heresy. | |
