Am I the only one being offered young teen singles?

So, this is fairly new: these pop-ups I get when I log on. Is it just me, or is this just normal advertising? No, it's not that I mind - just curious is all. The language is not english - though I'm too ignorant to know what it is.

Anyway, just a question is all.

Weird though. 'Cause it's only when I log on to Tom's site and the langauge is (maybe) germanesque? It could be my work computer, though the security here is pretty tight. Oh well.

You could retype some of the text so we can all have a guess at the language. It won't help you with your problem, though.

They all seem to come from Welt Online (looking at one as we speak) - This one is for an iPhone:

Oh wait - here's the one!

So? Is she single?

The latter simply says:
"The language of the teens - what adolescents say and what they mean."

So, it could be a hidden ad for girls who just don't manage to tell you that they love you, but I suppose it's just another boring article on Welt Online, which is the website of a newspaper associated with the German equivalent of the "Sun" (aka BILD).

Probably the computer, talked to one of my techie friends and he says it's 'almost defo the machine'. (Why do they all say 'machine'?)

When one references the 'machine' it gives one a sense of technological awesome and superiority. We can safely say that by de-humanising the so called machine, one can detach themselves from the reality that said machines, whilst created by the human intellect, far exceed our meager abilities in most things, and thus one could argue that calling the 'machine' a machine is a way in which to make one feel superior to an obviously superior machine capable of millions upon millions of calculations per second.

Or maybe the above was all random 3:10am crap and I have no idea.

So, what's Welt Online like anyways? Apart from imparting confusing and misleading singles adds to the uninitiated into German?

I don't get those pop ups either. Since the ads are german but the server is hosted in France, I doubt that these ads are generated by the latter.

Here's what you should do:
- Run an Adware check (programs like "Adaware" can do that)
- Run a virus scan (after update).
