| As I'm moving more and more away from buying Citadel miniatures and moving more into scratch sculpting I seem to keep having to ask questions about heights of the different races, I'd really appreciate it if one/some of the more knowledgeable forumites could fill out this reference list of average heights in mm (to the eyes) of all the notable races i.e.
Human: 28 mm Elf: ??? Dark Elf: 28mm Dwarf: 22mm-24mm Halfling: 18mm Beastman: ??? Bestigor: 40-45mm Minotaur: ??? Orc: 28mm Goblin: 22mm-24mm Snotling: ??? Troll: ??? Ogre: ??? Gnoblar: ??? Skaven: 18-24mm Rat Ogre: ??? Skink: ??? Saurus: ??? Kroxigor: ??? Giant: 200mm

| COOL! Your TOTAL SCUPT Skaven minis ROCK! It will be a blast to see you doing up more of the little suckers. Do you measure your minis from the top of the base to the top of the head? A surprising large number of mini makers give measurements to either the eyes or the top of whatever headgear the mini is wearing. It DOES add a bit of confusion to purchasing stuff. I'll measure up what Citadel stuff I have & let you know their heights. | |

| COOL! Creativity is not a thing to be rushed, & anticipation seasons the fruits of your labors. Although I'd like to point out that I'm REALLY OLD, so could you take your time in a hurry? Only kidding, kind of . Halflings 18mm Goblins & Dwarves 22mm to 24mm Dark Elves 28mm Orcs 28mm More measurement are forth-coming. | |

| If the Orcs stood up straight like their Mum told them to, they'd probably be a head or so taller than a human or elf, but being hunched over they are about eye level. Skaven seem to have the same posture problem. River Trolls 35mm with their posture problem Stone Troll [listemed to Mum ] 45mm I think the Ogres are about the same height as the Stone Trolls. I'll check later, & if they're different, I'll post their height. | |

| I'll measure some up for you later. If memory serves the metal ogre-bodyguad is considerably shorter than the modern bulls, ironguts and leadbelchers. But ogres vary in height.
PS. Some Citadel humans vary by up to 50%. | |
