| I like the yellow and green color scheme. It fits them extremely well. Great job on your warband. Question for you though. How did you get the 'shinyness' (sp?)? Is that the brush on Varnish or is that the 'dipping' Ive heard and read so much about?

| VERY COOL! The ONLY problem with posting SO MANY minis in one shot is it's ALMOST impossible to pick out individuals for WELL DESEVED compliments & comments. I DO, however, REALLY like the converted Duelist & the chap with the torch. The group shot shows the Warband of VERY nicely. WELL DONE! | |

Drugart Hm. My english is so bad... Öhm... I think it is the effect of the GW-Washs. I work only with Ogryn-Flesh and "Blabla"-Black... - DeafNala wrote:

The Duellist is "stolen" from the Mordheim-Rulebook. There was a photo from a Warrior with a... "Stecknadel..."?

I'd say it's "pin" in English. Nice minis, by the way! I was only wondering whether you used different color schemes on purpose or just painted the warband in different stages? The to yellow and green heroes (first pic) are a bit bright for my taste. But the rest of the warband has got a great color scheme which manages to show the randomness of the clothing the warriors wear while while still creating a consistent look. Very Mordheim-ish.

Well, Stirland has the color yellow and dark green, but there is a Regiment calld "River Guard", that has the color white and dark green. I want to show that the Members of the Warband has different backrounds and history. At all, I think it must be possible to paint about 25 human warriors and play them as any human warband in the game. For example, I'll paint a few Marienburger-Heros in white and green and take the Champion you see on the picture as one of them. Or I paint a few Middenheim-Heros and take the Yungblood (it is a Middenheimer... ) for them. Or i'll paint a few Halflings and play the Stirlanders (Stirland has Halflings, too) wiht the rules of the Averlanders.

| The blond hair on the second pic is pretty amazing Sir Leon. What colours did you use for that? I like the whitish/blond mix you manage to give that mini. He's between Scandinavian and albino... cool. _________________ | |
