| @styro:thanks again for your great work on this setting.
I hope we can play a campaign in this setting sometimes.
Currently we are also pure Mordheimers( with maybe a little EiF in the mix)

| Glad you like! Master and I put our blood, sweat, and aaaaarrs into it... and Von Kurst deserves a huge piece of the praise, as he's contributed at least half of the Add-On material. He's even written the rules for a full Location Campaign system... which he's going to send to me.... any day now...
If you get a chance to try it, let me know what you think... we're also excited to hear feedback and new ideas.

| I'm building a Savage Orc warband for use in playtesting for my Southlands setting. I noticed the savage orc list leaves out axes and swords which are present on the new savage orc sprues. I was thinking maybe they could be added to the list, but for heroes only? Or do people think more gear options would be unbalancing? | |

| Hmm. Well, I took the equipment list straight as Warboss's friend Phil wrote it... (well, I'm guilty of adding the throwing axes).
If you want to houserule that heroes and/or hench can have axes, I see no problem with that. However, the fact that they have awesome protective tattoos is offset slightly by the fact that they may never use the parry rule. So no, regardless of the sprue, no swords.
That's not to say that you can't use the awesome sword model... let it count as a club or axe (assuming you allow your warrior to use one.) I mean, a crude stone sword like the one in the Savage Orc pics is so primitive that it probably has the cutting edge of a butter-knife. I mean, even medieval swords lost their sharpness pretty quickly into the battle- you were effectively swinging around an iron baseball bat.

| I'd say that those stone clubs may look like axes and swords but they are still just stone clubs. But don't take that as the "official" word on Phil's (AKA Zelophahad) list! | |

| Heh. If you look at the box cover, one of them seems to have a crude version of a Fighting Claw. Or maybe a punch dagger. Or maybe he's dumb, he has to tie his knife to his hand so he won't leave it in the cave.
I'm afraid Savage Orcs aren't that clever or sophisticated with weapons.
WEAPON TRAINING FOR SAVAGE ORCS
Chief: Say back... 'Ug knife in stunty face.' Ug: Ug knife in Ug face. Chief: No! 'Stunty!' Ug: Stunty knife in stunty face. Chief: No, 'ug' and 'stunty'! Ug: Stunty knife in Ug face. chief: No! Switch! Ug: Ug face in Stunty Knife. Chief: NO! Ug: Ug knife.... IS stunty face? Chief: . . . Chief: ... betta.

| "Ug just hit stunty with Ug face..."
And yeah I missed the line on swords, and I like the ruling that stone axes count as clubs. Looking back that is what the Lizardmen list does too. And the daggers on his fist are an easy way to carry his free dagger!
"Oh! Dat's were Ug put dagger!"

| I don't understand the clarification for Treasure Maps-- - Quote :
- Treasure Map – Clarification
You must choose to use the Treasure Map in the Post game phase, before rolling for Exploration. Roll for your Pirate Map results. After resolving them, you roll 1D6 for each Hero not taken out of action and see how many Cargo/Wyrdstone they find (using any modifiers, skills or items as normal). However, you do not consult the Exploration Chart to see what they encounter, as they are too busy digging up treasure. First, what is being clarified? Does each hero generate d6 cargo? What is a 'Pirate Map'?

| Ah. Well, how's this:
- Using the map replaces any Exploration Result you would normally find. You must use the Map before rolling to see what Exploration Result you would have gotten.
(Got it from the Pirate Warband, to be honest. Just trying my best to interpret it as the author originally intended.)

| So each hero doesn't roll a d6?
Do you explore or not? If not what do you do? If you do explore what do you do?
For example does the above quote mean that the exploration phase is follwed as normal, i.e. each hero that does not go out of action generates 1d6 and the total number rolled still generates a wyrdstone/cargo total, which is still cross referenced against the number of warriors in the warband to generate gc?
The only step skipped is the doubles, triples, etc.?

| Yup. You keep everything, except the random events you find on doubles/ trips /etc. | |
