| WOOT! I finally finished the Scenario PDF! The Sartosa set is complete!
... although I noticed that I forgot out "Double-Barreled Pistol" on the Equipment list. I'll make sure to add it to the Reference sheet (PDF8)

| Heh, didn't realize that you were the one that wrote it. For the last game in the initial Sartosa Campaign, we used the Haunted Wreck as the scenario, and stuck Jeremiah Bane (the ghost DP) as the captain. The weather: pouring down rain! You couldn't set a more dark and gloomy setting in a movie.
I've SEEN that table, actually. Or, the picture of it, at least. That was the inspiration for my current tile system (I'll have a pic of it soon, I swear!) Who/whom built it, if you don't mind, so I can cite them?
Gutar Beg: Dog of war crew, eh? What warband did you have in mind? Tileans, Pirates, or Arabyan Smugglers? Or do you have something else in mind?
(In the back of my head, I've always wanted to make a Dog of War Mordheim campaign, but it's epic in scale... will probably take me a YEAR to finish.)

| That's what these internet alias things are all about. I am very glad that you liked it. I've also re-written the "Haunted Wreck" for Mordheim as "Fell Cargo" I can PM or e-mail it to you if you'd like. The table--We can still do cool, but the buildings pictured all went along with DaBank when he moved south. The risers are mine and the docks and props are Christmas Village stuff from Menard's that belong to Jim L. You could call us the Emporer's Rogues. Da Bank has posted the photo-link here and with his photos and its posted on Playtable's photobucket as well (or it was...) I feel your pain on not being able to post pics, I rely on friends to do it for me since I have neither camera nor skills. Gutar Beg would lead Arabyan Corsairs in the Sartosa campaign. Or Kap'un Arrgberg might show up with Savage Orc Cannibal Py'rats of the Great Green. Fair Winds, Mate js | |

Then you include Jim L with his terrain, painted minis and etc and my terrain made some awesome games.

| Well as I remember it, you (or someone who may have been you) and Andy ganged up on Robert. I can't remember if Jim L was there or not. (That was back when there were enough of us to game in the main store too sometimes...) You were there on a fight in the desert in Khemri night? We're fairly serious about our game time so if we got past "Hi, how are you, what warband you got?" without dice being rolled we were lucky... How's it going? js | |

| Yes, we are a bit spread out and it is really cool that I found some great people to game with in Indiana (Von Kurst), Houston (Pitfightertrainer) and in Florida (Mordheimer himself). | |

| Sartosa Scenarios: I am slowly reading through all the piratey goodness. I have a couple of suggestions for other variations to the basic scenarios. Chance encounter in the Islands. I use this in my Lustria campaign. The warbands are traveling by boat or raft and encounter each other per the usual rules. Add islands, crocodlles and stir. The Pool. I love Adm'rul Kurgan's version of this scenario. Adding a 'sea monster' and increasing the size of the pool makes for a good time. I like the alternate ideas you suggest for the basic scenarios, especially 'The Governor's Daughter' and 'Stop the Pigeon'. js | |

| Ohoo, I like the chance encounter idea. I'll have to try that out.
As far as Kurgan's Pool, I'd love to see what he's written. I don't think it'd include any HUGE version, 'cause I already have the "Here Be Monsters" scenario (which is basically Monster's Lair with an aquatic twist).
Grr, I might have mentioned this, but it seems I left Refined Powder off of the Equipment list. It's 10gc, rare 5.

| Slippery Jack: Awesome. I found the variation on Marienburg, and am going to add the rules as a variation to "The Pool". (Not sure if I'll make a new PDF for additional scenarios and variations, or whether I should show Jack in the Scenary PDF, and tag the variation on to him....)
Sadly, I have yet to convert monsters of my own. I've been sweating over scenary primarily, and warband figures second. In the past instances of Monsters LAIR, someone else in the group has provided the monster figure. I haven't seen the WD you've referred to, but I've seen the Sea Monsters built for the General's Comdenium. (Actually, I don't know who built them, as they took down the article since then. Any idea who built the Tentacled Horror, Turtigon, and other various monsters?). When I finally get to it, I was probably going to find some big plastic animals (ex. Like the crab), and repaint them, or build a smaller tentacled beast, like Slippery jack, as I do not have the money to buy a GW plastic dragons and another $40 worth of bits to build a single model that has a 1 in 6 chance of being used in a scenario that never gets rolled. I really wish I could, but I can't.

| You can always see what you come up with for numbers of new scenario ideas before deciding...
No pressure, just curious. We've got one toy Octopus and some sharks. I bought a Reaper Dragon Turtle last year, but I've stored it...somewhere. I'm sure somebody has a plastic crab that will work. And plastic turtles for that matter. WD's are 289 and 290. I see no credits.
Didn't LotR come out with a Watcher model?

| Welcome aboard!
While we're on the subject of Ghost Pirates what is the intent of this sentence?
Sea Singer--Beauty of the Sea-- "[h]e must pass a Leadership test, if failed, or else dazzled at her beauty and remains in place."
I think it means that the warrior must pass a Ld test, if he fails he may not move. js

| The way I read it was that to charge the Sea Singer a MALE model had to take a leadership test, and if charged a MALE model could not fight back until he passed a leadership test. And that the Sea Singer only caused fear to FEMALE models.
So, the more female models you use in your warband the better off you will be against the Sea Singer.
What say you, Styrofoamking?

| Bloated: Oops indeed. They feel pain as normal. Sorry about that.
Sea Singer: Wow, terrible wording on my part. Yes, if a Male fails his Ld test, he may not charge a Sea Singer, but is rather glued to the spot. The "Allure" is similar to fear (although a lot harsher... they cannot attack back at all, and have to test each turn until they pass!) but is NOT fear. So, a female model is much better off attacking the singer than a male. The 'Allure" counts as a Psychology, so Dark Souls, Flaggellants, and Slayers ignore it like normal.
Oh, and I noted that in only affects non-animals... so the best person to attack a Sea Singer with is your wardogs... they don't suffer fear nor allure.

| Hello, I was looking at the human pirates lists with an eye to the Estalians. The special rules for Estalians state that the Captain and Champions start with the Expert Swordsman skill. I assume that this means that the Captain and Mates of an Estalian crew start with the skill?
