| What did they disqualify you for, being TOO creative?! That IS a GREAT piece of modeling. The removable roof & ALL the TERRIFIC interior detailing that having it detachable reveal ROCK! NOW I've got to go back & drool somemore. VERY WELL DONE! | |

| Ah, well you are suppose to summarise what you made everything from, which I did. I then made the fatal mistake of adding a throw-away line that all of my techniques were in my wip thread in detail. That's what I was disqualified for, referring to my WIP thread in my entry thread. It is not specifically mentioned that this is not allowed in the rules (although I would accept that it is implied that it is not good practise), however the admin accepted an entry the previous month that did the exact same thing. So its a little unfair, but whatever. Main thing is that is for there, and I don't want to turn this thread into a "stupid admin" thread; I shouldn't really have mentioned it. Let's get back to "amazing building" thread - that'll make me feel better. | |

| What an amazing building! I was about to say "really great building" when I saw the first photo of the interior. Jaw drop. You did an excellent job on this building. Don't be annoyed with being unnecessarily disqualified. The result should be satisfying you enough, even more once you got your first games in with it. An outstanding job. Kudos! and thanks for sharing! | |

| Nice Work! Excellent job on this building, love all the little details. No worries on the DQ, they dont know what they were doing. Keep up the great building work and looking forward to seeing more when you get the creative itch again. | |

| Amazing stuff. It's a great building, and a great gaming piece. It's the little details that give it character, but it's the bigger things, and the thought that went into them, that makes it a great gaming piece. The interior work is an obvious example, but even the broken balcony (forcing jump rolls) and the room on the outside right that all the rubble has fallen into, creating a convenient ramp up to the upper floor. Inspired! | |

| Man, I saw the WIP thread for this over at TG and I absolutely love how the finished piece turned out. I especially like how you detailed everything but took the extra step to ensure it is easily playable.
Bummer on the TG ruling. Your piece would have won hands down. I've been frequenting that site less and less as it's very antiquated in my opinion. The site and forums basically haven't changed in the 10 years since its creation, despite all the advancements in how user-generated content may be displayed.

| Wow that's weak. I assume the contest mod and not Andy shot it down? I'm going to boycott that vote now.
WOW!! I just read the ruling... *facepalm* Weak sock, dude.
This is one of the best ever Mordheim pieces, and definitely the best human bar ever.

| What an interesting piece of terrain ! You make it fun to play in, that's the challenge for all the builders, and I think you succeed where a lot of them failed ! | |

| Thanks everyone It was pride of place yesterday on the Mordheim table I've been running at my uni gaming club this semester. Didn't feature in the action in the first game of the day, but saw plenty of scraps in the remaining 4 games. A lot of fun, particularly a couple of games of "chance encounter". Where an outnumbered Reiklander warband tried to hole-up in the inn for the game and defend it against the undead. The numerous ways in made it tough, but the front door was a proper meat grinder, the fight there accounting for the vampire, a dire wolf and 4 of the Reiklanders. I played next with an identical game scenario and tactics really, with my dwarfs against different Reiklanders, setting up my missile guys in the inn and my fighters nearby. The Reiklanders stormed the inn, but the missile guys pulled back into the upper corridor and pin cushioned the Reiklanders as they came up the stairs! Meanwhile one of my troll-slayers stormed in the front door and took 2 Reiklanders out of action; the Reiklander's bottled and my dwarfs were left in position of the inn! A lot of fun to play in and around Looking forward to completing my next project, which will be some stable blocks to fence in the yard a bit, then a game where you need to capture/defend a building in the centre of the table should be a blast! | |

| Very Impressive indeed. Maybe the "Morrstein" should be a bit more dark ... crystlallic look. What I mean: Beginn with a very dark Green, nearly black and highlight until you reach the highest edges the very highest edges should be painted white At the moment it looks a bit like ... snot ... I hope you aren't angry because of my critics. | |

| Yep, it's Morr's Rock exactly, as it's Morrsstein in German, with 2 "s".
A little strange, as I wonder what Morr has to do with Sigmar's comet falling down on Mordheim?

Oh, yeah. I always forget that. But well, it's been ages since I last read the background of the German rulebook...
