| Those are awesome man. Good work! My faves are the warlock and the dwarf.
That base is huge on the warlock! It looks great. Let me know how it plays. =)

| Nice models Grimor! Thanks for posting the pics.
If you want better lighting effects, you should try shading everything: especially the skin and the beard on the dwarf. Don't be afraid to add 1 or 2 lighter shades on top of what you already have. You can "drybrush" the beard (I put quotation marks on "drybrush" because it should be a very light drybrush of successive shadings).
A good base color for skin is usually some sort of light brown.
Cheers! _________________

| Ah a man who takes care of details! It is nice to see you took the time to paint the eyes (usually beginners ignore that). And they are very well done too! You also have a neat painting style. That is VERY important and is the base for improving fast. Good job! (especially since I own the same model and can therefore certify that it is one of the harder models to paint). One little critic though if I may: you should try and shade the white shirt and the blonde hair. If you need help on how to do that, just ask in the painting section and we'll all be glad to add our grain of salt _________________ | |

You are right. I should do a tutorial about that, but i don't really have time, so I'll just write a quick guide here and do a tutorial sometime in the future. Shading whitesThere are 1000 ways of doing this, depending on what type of white you want. I use mainly 2 methods: one for "warm" whites (beige-ish) and one for "cold" whites (blue-ish). All my Mordheim models were painted with "warm" white effects. Base: 50% Brown (e.g. Tierra Mate or Bestial Brown) + 50% Beige ( Arena Oscura or Bleached Bone) Work your way up to pure beige. If you wish, you can then add a last layer of: 50% Beige ( Arena Oscura or Bleached Bone) + 50% White (e.g. Blanco Pergamino or Skull White) just to accentuate the highest folds of cloth. Don't worry if you screw it up a few times, white and blacks are annoying to paint (especially the blacks imo), because you have to get the "depth" 100% right. If a fold in the clothes is deep, then it HAS to be darker than a fold that is more shallow. Otherwise it will look strange. (If you saw me painting, you would hear me moan "f***********ck...." from time to time, as my brush inadvertantly slips into a recess and screws up the 3 last layers I have painstakingly built up before) Just keep trying and you should quickly get the hang of it! Good luck! _________________

| Very nice, clean work, & an excellent choice of minis; I think you show tremendous potential. PLUS, if you need any advice you've found your way to THE FRIENDIEST FORUM; they even answer my really dumb questions. I just finished [like right now] doing up my version of the mini you used for your Warlock. What a cool little sucker! I hope you enjoyed doing up yours as much as I did. Keep up the GOOD work. | |

| COOL STUFF! The last two show a lot of character. The Matriarch looks like her eye are cast upward for Divine Guidance; & the Free-Lancer has a certain World weary look about him. Excellent work! | |

| great job on the matriarch! good choice of colours and nice detailing! I like it! Your freelancer is good as well, however IMHO you should try to make his armour look a bit more "rusty" or "dirty", especially here since the armour covers almost the whole model. Maybe you could add a final layer of the "Tin Bitz" paint on the metallic parts? Or use inks, but I'm really not an expert with painting... I hope you'll get your freelancer a horse. Because without horse, he will never become the real Don Salchichón de Castilla y Leon (olé!) | |

| Appreciate the kind words people really I to because I don’t like painting at all and I have so many models to go may be that’s the reason I don’t like painting that I cant see the end of the work but at the seam time I want them all painted. Jep life is though sucked up.
and the knight cant have rusti armor because he has to fill the roll of the spearman regiment sergeant from time to time
