Lord Bane's Autumn Avengers>>

Hi.

I present you my last Warband. Autumn Avengers came to Mordheim to discover a spirit of the forest caged in the body of a maiden who is kept hidden in a Sigmar temple.
On the way to the Temple, the Wooden raiders discovered it would be much more harder than they thought to reach their goal. Scavens, Chaos Warriors and Phatom Warriors also wanted the girl for different reasons...

Wow! They look cool! I like the name as well, "autumn avengers", it suits the colours you chose for them!

But, to be honest, I don't really like the weapons. I would like to see more pictures and more details before I make my comment, but atm I see your "greenish" sword with a red hilt and the bow with red ends... and I don't think they look like weapons. Maybe you should choose more "realistic" colours, to represent basic wood or rusty metal...?

Anyway, good job on the bodies! (I especially love the green tattoos on the woman with the green sword... even if she's "flou")

Your paintjob is very neat. I like it. Did you use a varnish?

[EDIT]: The only little thing I would criticise, if I may, is the absence of shading on the metal of the blade (not the runes, you did those, but the actual BLADE).

[RE-EDIT]: Nice "Thousand Sons" in the background. Care to post some pics of those in the SiO section?

Indeed I did use a varnish. Basically, more for the painting not to fade away than for the visual effect...

For the blade, the hell yes! You' re right! I was wondering if I forgot something and couldn't find out... Now I know, you're the one, Tom!

About the Thousand Sons, they are not finished yet, just half the way to get the right colour. The truth is somewhere around!
