Here's a little list of real life sizes of various things, together with their WH scaled size. Most of the real life measurements come from Google, some from experience, and some are guesstimates. The 1:58 values are calculated from the RL ones.
What do you say? Do these values come close to what you use when building scenery?
Did you collect your own measures? Do you have some I can add to the list, for posteriority?

Thanks for posting it here. It covers the "scale" part real well (I got the "1:58" from there).
The purpose of my list is to get actual sizes, to which a scale can be applied. I.e. if you want to know how big that rectangle for a door should be, the scale alone does not help, you need to know how big doors are, usually.
