| Thanks, Harrocks. I am glad you like the color. I am trying to expand the range of colors I use. The blue was an experiment with blending. | |

| SO I had occasion to take a photo for the Reaper forum of a Grenadier/Mirliton Shire Dragon. This got me to thinking about the piece. It is a delightfully silly Dragon, but it had these bands around his neck that I didn't care for. That got me to thinking of the Worm (Dragons are called worms or wyrms) from Labyrinth: ...the scarf in particular is what I was thinking of. It looked more appropriate than the bands/collar; ergo, he now has a scarf: With the leftover putty I made YET ANOTHER Face: This is what happens when a Crazy Old Man has too much time on his hands & an abundance of strange ideas. | |

Labyrinth was the inspiration for the Faces. The scene where all the Goblins are staring out at the audience waiting for Sarah to say the words...I can't believe that that movie is 34 years old. Ahh nice! So my memory served me well on this. 34 years...wow indeed. Think I am going check it soon with my daughters! Lovely colorful bunch those shrooms, better not eat them I guess...

| I was shocked...1986 was the release date. Where did all that time go. Anyway this is the picture: I'd like to try this one someday: I love that movie! | |

| I have the Giant yet to be painted. He did get his trousers mended. The kit was a gift from a Guy I painted for. He only wanted a couple of the accessory pieces for another Giant; the Rackham one if I remember correctly. | |

| The Fleeing Man seems to be a popular part -- GW use him as a mascot on the Community website & take him round conventions.
Otherwise, I'm a little frightened to see the toothy mushrooms have gained the ability to walk, but also always impressed to see how all the work's coming on. Great stuff DN!

| Thanks for the kind reply, Rhydderch! I am happy you kike the stuff. The more unexpected body parts that the Mushrooms sprout, the more disturbing they become. Creeping along on a bunch of tendrils/tentacles is somewhat more upsetting than the legs...somewhat. | |

| Thanks for the reply. Gatlag. I try to keep as busy as possible; re, it helps maintain a positive outlook. Labyrinth is a favortite with me also. The Henson/Froud collaborations always seem to produce delightfully whimsical escape films. | |

| With the return of my closeup vision, I started painting the long awaited Mollog aka Spotty Herbert the Mushroom Troll. Seen here with some Fellow Painting Line pieces: AND by himself: I still have his club, the Frog Prince, & the foreground Mushroom to do, but it is getting there. I am hoping to wrap it up over the weekend....hopefully. | |
