I have been puttering around with a few different things.
The Goblins & Friends have a little more color:


The Mobile Mushroom Shaman will be getting a star field on the blue portion of his cap:


I am rebasing some of The Blight pieces to act as backgrounds for The Eternal Block Party:

I have spent the day putzing around with things. This doesn't work well with daily updates, but can lead to big posts...eventually.

This is the sort of neighborhood that is most attractive when viewed though blood shot eyes.

Thanks, Harrocks. I was hoping the white on black would enhance the Shaman's bright colors. I am glad you like the effect.  

I take it that sort of colouring is how you recognise a Nightcap Mushroom.

I like that top down photo to- it gives the impression of a ancient dense forest.

When the spooky woods are done, they are going to be stunning! in a creepy sort of way...

Despite the distractions of the last few days, I managed to do some faces & such on the next batch of Goblins with an Ogre & an Elf to boot:


Percy & Scratch, above, are from the Bwana Bateye Hunting Party. I was using them for Ogre skin colors.



I am experimenting with some magnifying glasses. Thus far I like the results:




The Elf was started a couple years ago. I am doing him for a RPGer at Jersey Giant Pizza:

Anyone who has been exposed or even likes G.W. fluff has got to hate the insufferably condescending Elves; this one is for a D&D Guy I know. I am glad you like the other stuff, Jim. Thanks for the reply.

I spotted a different looking mushroom on C.M.o.N. which I modified ever so slightly:




I think they will get on famously with the Goblins.

I had these Fellows assembled & ready for paint nine years ago...the beast of burden is more recent.
