| I've been writing up some Greenskin HS for our new campaign (and there are a few already written that we hadn't used much). HS rules here-- https://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/t8651-big-toof-hired-swordsI thought it would be nice to have a little gallery showing how we represent them on the table. Starting with my WIP Mad Bomma (loosely based on the Blood Bowl Star Player). Hopefully more will follow, though I can't promise any rhyme or reason to the schedule. | |

| That's funny on two counts. Your Gnoblar/ Goblin is a WONDERFULLY painted whimsical Little Maniac; AND I thought you mentioned something about not having a suitable Mad Bomma miniature. SO I went hunting through the Vault for an old Blood Bowl mini I knew was lurking somewhere. I found & photoed the mini just in time to see you don't need him. Just in case you need another Mad Bomma. I have this one available: I love the Hired Swords for Big Toof. Those are just the sort of characters that are made for modeling & painting...gaming too I suppose. | |

| Thanks very much Al. I applaud you for having a vault you can find things in. I was certain that I had purchased the Blood Bowl mini years ago at a sale... And I have been meaning to write the Mad Bomma up for pirate campaigns for an equal number of years. But I have no idea where I put the Blood Bowl mini or if I really did buy it or just thought about it... I found Hakflem Scuttlespike (who has been waiting all these years for a skaven to get the extra arm mutation...)
The Gnoblin above was originally supposed to be cannon crew for my orc pirates. I also have the little guy with the powder keg and a couple more gunner types somewhere...

| It may take awhile but I am pretty good at finding things in The Vault. Now that I've done cleaning, move Cap'n Johns Horde to a separate area, & added a few storage thingies the Vault is almost organized. I could mail the Little Guy out to you on Monday. If you'd like him painted it would be later in the week. | |

| Awesome mad bomma. What a character, really like his goggles and how they reflect the light from the flame. What I particularly like on this model is how the mouth is painted. I find it difficult to get the brush in there and not have the teeth look all pristine. Can't imagine too many goblins flossing! Yours looks more real. Great model. | |

Thank you. I used a smaller brush (a 0 in the line I am using) with an off white to begin, then I hit the mouth with a dark wash. @Deafnala--Thanks very much Al.

| Ali Babala, da Goblin Peddla A WIP (something odd happened to his left foot during the sealing process. Like only that area. Odd.) Lyter, da Goblin Lantern Bearer. Model and photo by Mr Lenglade (playtable). And not a hired sword, but a drunken snot from Foundry's Kev Adam's range.

| UBERCOOL STUFF...nice background scenery also. The minis look SPLENDID & IMAGINATIVE...I love the Peddla's turban. VERY WELL DONE, one & all! I find the Hired Swords to be incredibly inspiring. The definitely have the created juices flowing. | |

| Thank you Al. I'm glad you enjoy them. I was inspired by existing models from GW for all of them except the Peddla (why is there no goblin merchant type?). But I was also thinking of ways to convert plastics to make each. I keep toying with introducing a freelancer boar rider, too, but I haven't written it up yet. | |

| The Orc Freelancer is something I've done at least twice; it's a fun piece to do. Privateer Press has a Gobber Tinker that would make a cool Goblin Merchant with his wares. As it comes, the Gobber looks more like an Orc though: ...but a cool orc. I did a Goblin Highwayman a few years ago, Dick Turnip & his trusty steed (wolf) Night Train, seen here: - Spoiler:

| Dick and Night Train are the best. Where is that wolf from?
The Privateer peddler is an inspiration as well. I had considered using the gnoblar with the huge pack (changing my rules to allow the peddla an armor save because of all his merchandise). Because I wrote him as a noncombatant, my Peddla's advances have been strength and attack...

| Thanks, Jim. The wolf was a Heritage Dungeon Dweller's miniature. When they first got started in '95, I think, Reaper carried the Dungeon Dweller range...that's where this one is from. | |

| The Goblin Spider Guy looks like he's the product of one of his Mom's stranger encounters. He also looks like you are going to make the most of the mini. | |
