Hello all! Been a while since I made fantasy terrain, but I was recently comissioned to do four peices so thought I'd show some of the process here.

Thanks! Yup it was with a certain sweaty manner I attached the clamps:) I sanded the bases and started with the roof shingles yesterday, pics soon!

You're off to a FINE start. Even at this early stage the potential is obvious; AND since I know how UBERCOOL your Sci Fi/Post Apocalypse stuff is, this should be a FANTASTIC thread to follow. Have FUN with it all!   thumbsup

I have one small criticism. The stones in the masonry are wild. It is an attempt to put you in rows. Excuse me, but I am mason.... Wink

Each stone has a different shape. But it is trying to put you in the horizontal rows.

Gorgeous house! Not sure I'm 100% on board with the full stripe effect on the roof tiles, but ti does certainly look interesting. And are you planning on adding any moss/vines/foliage? The overgrown look they provide can push something from great to astounding without much effort.
