The time has come for another great inhouse discussion. Whether henchmen should be treated as individuals or as a group (similar to 40k) in the movement and combat phases.

Last game we had was a Breakthrough scenario straight from the book. Everyone would move their henchmen groups (Boyz, Goblins etc..) as a single unit. A direction chosen and everyone in the group would have to move towards that point. When an opposing dwarfen warband blocked my path we discussed for a while and decided to treat henchmen as a group in combat. If one charges, they all charge and such. However someone pointed out afterwards that we had actually forgot to use the Turn phases correctly so I'm not sure if the previous question is valid or not. What a Face

I've read the chapters afterwards but haven't been able to find anything on "group mentality" regarding the henchmen. Neutral

Henchmen are moved separately. For example, you may position your 3 marksmen all over the place and need not squeeze them into the same building.
The same applies to close combat. Your swordsmen may split up and everyone may engage a different model in close combat, they don't necessarily all jump onto one model.
