Catslevites!

Now the Golden Tom is over we can post up our entries.  Mine is the warband leader (Druzhina) for a Kislevite warband that I've been working on for a wee while.  I'll need to take pictures of the rest of the models, but for now you can have Druzhina Piotr Raczkowski.  Former member of the Gryphon Legion, turned mercenary.



Mostly sculpted with green or brown stuff over a wire armature.  The head, swords and helmet are from the Empire Greatswords, and I think the back feathery thingy is from Maxmini or Kromlech.  Drew a lot of inspiration from the Polish-Lithuanian Hussars mixed up with GW's Kislev style.

I'll take pictures of other models when I can get a camera again.  This is the only painted model so far.  I've been out of the hobby for a fair while now but the competition got me back into it again.  I'll need to work harder this year.

The competition seems to have been even harder than I thought. The paintjob es really good too, but the conversion - almost scrathbuild - is the true eyecandy here. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the band.

It is good to have you back painting & sculpting again, cat. The Winged Hussar is a BEAUTY...GREAT sculpting & brushwork. VERY WELL DONE!  

Oh my!  The judges choices were harder than the winner thread indicates. (and they looked pretty difficult there) Great mini.  I wish this was commercially available...

Congrats, the mini is awesome and i hope too see soon other warband models!
The conversion is really well done, i love it, he has a lot of charm for me. I suggest you to take the photo a little bit closer next time so we can admire better all your works!
