| Ten years ago I played Mordheim. I recently dug out the old figures and have now played a couple games with my kids. One decided on Undead, while the other is making use of a previously painted witchhunter warband. I went with skaven, but the lure of chaos is strong. I'm trying to force myself to finish the skaven before putting together a possessed warband. I never could resist converting all those lovely mutations Here are a few figures in progress. Undead. Ghouls are converted Mantic Zombies. Had a bunch extra. Necromancer is a couple of spare parts and plenty of putty. The Dregs are mostly flagellant plastics (and who doesn't love those plastics?). Skaven Heroes. Black, Assassin, and Night Runner. Hated the look of the old Skaven plastics. These IMO are much prettier, but not nearly as easy to customize. Witch Hunter Captain from the Wyrd range. Pit Fighter converted from a Warmachine Doomreaver.

| Fancy greenstuff work and great choice of models. Any chance for more pictures of the dreg? He's my favorite. The mantic zombies makes for great ghouls, cant wait for more additions and seeing em painted! | |

| Sounds like I need more pictures of the dregs! I'll put some more up soon. They're mostly plastic flagellant parts. GW have odd proportions, so I cut off the upper bodies and added a couple mm. They all have GW empire heads. I think one or two are flagellant and one or two are from another Empire kit. I don't have them in front of me at the moment. I'll take additional pics when I do. | |

| Cool stuff! Like others mentioned: the green stuff work is really good! Some individual pics, preferrably 360 views would be much appreciated! | |

fair point zealots = flagellants, I guess i'm too familiar with them that I knew exactly what he was talking about lol. AH! Got it! Duh! I was hoping there would be yet another company called Zealots Miniatures doing plastic models. Well, on a positive note, I found a company precisely called Zealot Miniatures (this one makes resin models, though): http://www.zealotminiatures.co.uk/Joao | |

| Oops! Yes, "zealot" was supposed to be "flagellant." Sorry about the mix-up there! | |

| They look healthier & better equipped than G.W's take on the Dreg...that isn't necessarily a bad thing. FINE WORK with the kitbashing & Green Stuffing! | |

| I'm perfectly OK with that. Didn't want to go quite as goofy as GW did. | |

| Good for you! One of the great things about Fantasy is that it affords you the opportunity to create a World of your own rather than following other Folks ideas. ENJOY THE CREATING! | |

| Got some of the undead painted. It's painful to paint stuff this quickly, but since these are collaborations with a 6-year old, I'm not going to beat myself up over it. She's having fun, figures are getting painted, and they're going to be manhandled anyway. Lots of stippled on highlights and washes on these guys. Dreg and Ghoul Dire Wolves Zombies | |

| To be truthful, much as that pains moi, I have seen very few gaming pieces at the not so local games store lately that could match your minis for quality. You & The Young Lady are doing a SPLENDID JOB. Keep up the GOOD WORK! | |

| They do look amazing - even the infamous undead hounds, which are always difficult to look good.
It's also great you're doing this as a team. I wish my family lived nearby and would be willing to share the "little men mania".

| It used to be my dad and brothers that I sporadically played with. A lot of the figures we're using now are from that previous era. It is nice that little ones show some interest. | |

| Really, REALLY nice work on these warbands - you and your little girl makes a magnificent team! Those zombies are ace, this really makes me think of getting the mantic zombies as well. My zombie conversion/painting itch is officially back! Marvelous green stuff work which meets the highest standards of what I usually see. Amazing work - you can be very proud even though it is what you call speed paint I would love to be able to paint like that any day! | |
